It’s saying choose which iconfile you want to use and open up the scrolling input display.lua file, the .lua should’ve been hint enough, and edit the part where it prompts your iconfile choice.
Then when you’re in the fba either click on the screen or find the the lua script thing at the top, where it says file, edit, etc. It should be in one of those.
Then browse the script and press run. I’m guessing it’s just saying run it by clicking on it.
Programmers don’t write code for the regular person, especially not a tool like this. These kinds of tools are for developers and people that study the mechanics of the game. Those people have a place in the programming world or whatever and so know how to tackle things from more than one angle. Sounds like you want it all spoonfed to you. This tool wasn’t made for you. Quit being so entitled.
You don’t need to select different icons if you are playing 3S, it’s defaults are the correct ones.
To run the script:
Run the game, make sure you aren’t in Fullscreen mode so that you can see the “Game, Video etc” options at the top-left of the window.
Click Game->Highlight “Lua Scripting”-> Click “New Lua Script Window…” Then Browse to the Lua Script you’d like to use, Double click it, then hit Run on the Lua script window that you see. You should be good to go.
For added ease, remember to go to Input->Configure hotkeys, then map the “Lua Custom hotkey” (1-5) to the desired keys.
