I finally see the new SRK and immediately I see a RIP Dasrik thread and in my mind I’m thinking “WTF isn’t that the OG Blackheart player?”

This is a pretty shitty way to start off the new year. I really liked Dasrik from his posts, never knew the man personally but I always thought he was a cool guy regardless. RIP
I don’t post here much anymore but when TS announced Dasrik’s death on Facebook I had to come back and pay my respects. When Dasrik posted, I didn’t always agree with him but I always respected what he had to say. Rest in Peace, Dasrik. Maybe where you’re going, Blackheart is top tier.

Damn, I thought it was just my friend only seeing now that RIP Dasrik thing that I saw back then when he told me.
Never thought it was actually true this time.
I hope he is better now, he was a truly amazing person.

Definitely not the way I wanted to come back from the holiday away from SRK. I never knew him personally, but Dasrik and I would post at each other in passing randomly throughout GD. And, given that we were both veterans of these forums, there was always that hidden respect that all of us older posters had for each other. We all at one point were at each other’s throats, flamed each other, banned each other…hell, I’m sure even some of the OGs around here have physically fought during a meetup or two. But there will always be that decency and humanity that comes with a brotherhood like our community here.
Wherever you are, you might be happy. But I know for sure that we’d rather have you down here making fun of us. :sad:

thats terrible to hear. What was the kidney condition and was it linked to his cardiac arrest? my thoughts go out to his family and his friends.
My memory is shit so I can’t claim to remember any specific posts by Dasrik, but SRK as a whole is family so it’s sad to lose one of us regardless of whether I knew him personally or not. RIP.
