Goddamn, I have “Rock” “R&B” “Hip-Hop”, “Jazz”, “Classical” and many other playlists on my ipod… But “Waltz for Life” was a track I always had on ALL my playlists, no matter what it was labeled…
RIP Nujabes. You may have passed, but your music will live on in my head as long as I breathe.

Originally an extended play of mixes that Nujabes put together, now in mixtape form you can listen to the songs individually. I definitely have my favorites and this track in particular is the ending to Side B and it works really well but sometimes I like to listen to it separately. Regardless, its one of the best EP’s I’ve listened to.
WHAT? Man, this is the first of me hearing about it. Such good beats. I play his instrumentals in the background at parties and everyone loves them, even those who aren’t into hip-hop. Will be missed.
As I read through this thread, I saw how everyone’s favorite Nujabes track was different from one another, and to me, that says a lot. Usually you’d see a lot of people band together to say a few particular songs are an artist’s greatest work, but seeing everyone choose different tracks made me realize that Nujabes had a track for everyone to enjoy, and for that reason I’m going to miss him immensely. Mystline and Counting Stars are my definite favorites, but I refuse to pick between them today, for they’re both great songs.

WHAT? HE DIED? he was so amazing, waltz for life will born R.I.P. when my friend CLinton shoed me this song, i freaked, i’ve listened to nujabes since then, he made the most soothing sounds, fuck Kanye, he thinks HE’S a genius?ignorant prick.
His life (probably) wasn’t surrounded with the typical celebrity BS. If all MJ did was make great music, then I’d be sad. If all Britney Murphy did was act in great films, then I’d be sad.
In Jun Sabe’s case, we only knew him for his great music. And that music lead to many joyful feelings and we thanked him by taking our time to sit and listen. It’s a very simple but powerful relationship. I’d be just as hurt if Thes One died.
