I just heard about this 10 minutes ago. He was definitely one of the reason for my love of martial arts growing up. It’s truly is a sad day now. T_T!!!
R.I.P. Grandmaster Jim Kelly
Wow, Hollywood. You never cease to amaze me. I almost wish I didn’t know this now.
R.I.P. Jim Kelly
Makes you wonder if there was more behind Williams not trying to bed Han’s right hand lady.
RIP Jim Kelly
Man, RIP Jim Kelly… May you throw white dudes heads through car window in heaven for eternity.
Damn…he was THE MAN besides Bruce Lee in that classic movie. R.I.P. Warrior.
Going to go fire up mame and beat Garou as Butt in honor of ‘Mr. William’.

How to deal with racist police that set you up as part of a conspiracy (Three the Hard Way)
Aw man. RIP. It’s hard to make an impression with how cool you are when you’re standing next to Bruce Lee, but you did it.
RIP Mr. Williams!
“bullshit mr han man”

That my friends, is real swag.
Ah man,
Sorry to hear that!
I always liked his character in "Enter the Dragon."
You could really feel the impact of his death on the John Saxon character, too…
BTW, 40th Anniversary of “Enter the Dragon,” the only OFFICIAL US Bruce Lee motion picture, being re-released to Blu ray later this year. I think it’s a remaster and not just a reprint of the previous release. Hopefully, there’s new material added, too, in addition to the old interviews and Bruce Lee fight scenes from “The Game of Death.” (That stuff has been shown to death on American TV, btw.)
May the 40th Anniversary honor those who have passed before us.
The film definitely merits the special treatment. It’s the film that got me mildly interested in Asian martial arts movies…
Heck, it’s already in the National Film Registery because it’s thought of so well…
sigh
Jim Kelly brought some real energy and fun to his roles, and I’m sad to hear he’s gone. For those who only know him for Enter the Dragon, please check out his filmography. He became far less active after the 70s and early 80s, but within that time frame he had some very entertaining films. I don’t immediately know if any of them are on Netflix or other video streaming services, but if they are… I think it would be appropriate to watch one of them tonight.
The Furious One, thank you for bringing this to our attention.
RIP
I would have wiped Jim Kelly’s ass, just saiyan.
