Some other performances I liked from him were in Galaxy Quest as a typecast Shakespearean actor who learns to embrace his scifi roots.

It’s weird to me when I see actors play the most evil characters…but are some of the chillest/nicest people in real life.
Why is it gonna cost him? It’s probably his most iconic role and he was pretty good at portraying him too. He totally nailed the part of the asshole teacher who redeems himself in the end.

I have to say that his portrayal of Severus Snape is one of the things that i actually enjoyed from the HP series.
He really sells the character.
