Yo this was one of the most weekends I have had in a while. Sean(Tom green) is mad cool. Soy sauce’s sentinel is a beast. Row is Godlike I thought he fell off but I was clearly wrong. all i wanted to do was take out stiltman and i hella did that. the cabinet wasn’t great but the sticks and buttons were all fine on my cabinet. 2-0

the only real problem with the tournament was that cvs2 had the loser rounds made into best out of one… the other cvs2 cabinets sucked ass so no one played there

anyways, on behalf of the canadians, we’d like to thank you US guys for a great tournament. very hospitable and friendly, the tourney scene is nothing like it is here, people are mean here and if you ask them how they do that combo, they shrug you off
and also on behalf of my carpool, i’d like to apologize to veteru for not staying the night. i know we said we would but everyone except miguel wanted to go home and we had originally said that if the tourneys end on saturday, we’d go home then. 2 people had to sleeping bags

It was pretty much a fuck-around day (except for the amazing CvS2 action (and I hate CvS2, so that’s saying a lot)), so the Marvel team turn-out was sparse and not helped out by the fact that everybody knew Randy Lew and Jason Mar were on the same team…
Four teams:

2nd place. Team We’re Going To Win: Mandel “Soy Sauce”, Jason Mar “Hairymaster”, Randy Lew "Nanoboi"

And Tao owned the fuck out of me with Colossus/Storm/TBonne on Saturday in casual. I want to see him play Up’s Juggy/Sent/BBHood. Tao plays crazy teams that you’d expect to see out of Ian, but beats you down with that randomness as if you were playing against Kuan’s Kuaneto.
Oh yeah: and while I never got my money/grudge match with Matrix (in fact, I never played you at all - maybe at ECC if PNW peeps head out?), I went 1-1 vs RowTron, and lost 5 bucks to Randy Lew in a 3-2 match. I’m pretty interested in hearing how the other money/grudge matches went down - I think Kuan won $20 or so, I’m not sure about other people.
I don’t know when people decided to start using Magnus’ Fly mode as an offensive strategy, but I was pretty amused any time somebody abused it. That’s just so wrong to me.
