I currently live in Jamaica and work in woodside. Though I’m looking for an apartment in woodside. I really need to take the time out and go to some of these local events. Playing the same small group of friends no matter how good they are gets lame quick.

I live in Jamaica and was looking for a place to play marvel, competitively or casually. Traveling to Big Two is literally as far as it could possibly be from my house so any play I could get closer to home would be a godsend.
Where exactly in Jamaica do you live, I’m on 159th street. Can’t really invite people over to my place atm though, shit is a mess.

I live right off the Boulevard by the Briarwood Van Wyck subway stop. I’d be down to host people in the next couple of days. There’s a pretty nice tv in my house. But I have no console.
Ah I see, I’d be down to come over for some local matches. We just need someone who’s will to bring a console (to the hood) lol.

If there’s anyone in the queens area with a console who is willing to bring it over I would be able to host a fair amount of people to play some UMVC3 casuals. This would have to be done in the next couple of days though, like before Tuesday. Is anyone interested in this, especially someone willing to bring a console over.

Wednesday June 20th at Break Billiards in Astoria
We play SSF4 AE 2012 on one setup and something else on the other. Two setups (one xbox one PS3) with sticks will be provided. We will do best 2/3, and after 5 wins please let others play
If people could bring spare sticks and copies of a game just in case people have to bounce early or whatnot that would be helpful… If we have enough sticks we might do 2vs2.
Free Pool and Foosball with any food or drink until 8 pm if you decide to show up early. They do have drink specials. If you are going to attend, please order something to support the venue for allowing us to use their space. It’s ok to come late. We usually stay till around 12am.[/SIZE][/LEFT]

BREAK in Astoria is still happening, if you notice previous posts, it’s pretty much every other week. We alternate weeks with Monday Mashfest which runs on Mondays. They have better Marvel competition though. 
I might stop by Break this Wednesday if I can get out of work early enough
Anyway, I’m having a session at my place next Saturday - June 30th - (Astoria, next to Ditmars Boulevard stop), so whoever is motivated, just message me!
SSFIV being the main game for this session, as usual, but I also would like to play some KOF because I’m shit at this game and the online sucks. And maybe some Soul Calibur V if you guys are motivated. SF IV is enough anyway, those are bonus games
I think that from now on, I’m gonna have one session every Saturday, so book your Saturdays guys! Session can start around 5PM/6PM and go on… until we’re tired of playing.
