QCFGaming.com - Budget Stick Cases - Plexiglass cases are here!

^^ agree, when I first saw those cases I could not believe my eyes on how cheap they were…

if I knew about that site a few months ago would have picked one up then but instead bought my friend uses TE stick…

I have a few questions about the Happ/iL DIY case.

a) Can an LS-56-01 be fitted instead of a Competition stick? Would this be a recommended either/of stick in case one wanted to get an alternate joystick with a 5-pin connection? (The less soldering I have to do the better…! Plus I have a billion ball handles I’d like to whittle down.)
b) Do Sanwa or Seimitsu buttons fit into the case as well as the Competition Buttons?

I think my questions about painting have been answered elsewhere in forums via the links at the QCF site.

Other than that, the product does look nice for the price!

I’m sure it could be possible to put an LS-56 in another case, but you’re going to have to do the little bit of modding to get it to fit.

The plate itself will fit in the space we carve out on the underside of the panel. You would probably want to request that we leave the holes undrilled, because you’ll have to do that yourself (the holes on a Happ won’t line up with the Seimitsu plate as far as I know).

For the button holes, you will have to widen those holes (or special request them made Sanwa size). The happ and Sanwa holes are different sizes.

Send an email to support@qcfgaming with exactly what you’re looking for. If it’s something we can help you out with we’ll give you a price and let you know.

thanks for the info, would be ordering it very soon just waiting for my older sister to pay me back…

Hmmm, is it possible to have the TE 8 button size case with only 6 straight across buttons drilled?

This is what I posted that I was trying to make, then I was referred here:

American 1990’s stick
CONCAVE buttons
6 buttons in 2 STRAIGHT-ACROSS rows of 3 with 2 removable for SNK/Tekken
DUAL WIRELESS PCB 360/PS3
Needs all functions start/select-back/Guide/PS with smaller out of the way buttons
needs plexi, or thin plastic cover for art

I think the TE sized one looks about right.

We don’t do the full custom work like that (plexi, wiring, art, etc.). We are just selling the cases for now.

But we can put that layout on that size case.

Send all special requests to support@qcfgaming and we’ll go from there.

Which size buttons does the sanwa case take?

30mm or 24mm?

30mm top, 24mm sides

Thanks. That was a quick reply. I already ordered mine. I also emailed you to convert my case to large because I didn’t know I can pick my own button layout with the larger case. Now I just need to buy some Japanese buttons and stick.

Anyone know any good sites to buy Japanese parts?

I usually use Gamingnow.net

I already got the parts from them. Now I’m just waiting for your case. Does your case takes sanwa snap-in buttons because that’s what I got. If you did not ship my case yet, can you check to see if it will work for sanwa snap-in buttons?

PS: I also PM you about my order.

hey satek and lucky day…

i sent an email with some questions i had…

:bgrin:

Yup, I received the request for change in order. I’m not sure if snap-ins work, maybe the will though.

Hmm, I thought I had replied, did you not get an answer yet?

Satek

just looked through my emails and didnt see anything…

Hmm, well, could you just send me a PM with the question? I don’t know if I received your email or not, and if I did, I think I responded.

kk…

sent…

I got your case today. Its in good condition. I thought there’s going to be a hole for running the controller cords out but there’s none. I guess I have to cut a path for the cords on the case itself. In the future are you going to add a plexi on the case to hold an artwork?

Woah, didn’t know you wrote in this thread. Otherwise, would’ve responded earlier.

Sorry about the hole for the cord, our cases don’t come with those. And plexi may be a future option, and I’ve been thinking about it for awhile. I would say 25% chance of happening.

Anyways, here are some more pics -

Got my small sanwa case today. It’s great, thanks! I’ll post the results when it’s completed.
