^^^Thanks Nareg. Buy the parts for your cases from this man. ^^^
Ok guys, we have decided to sell the prototype case shown in the post above as sort of an early “preview” of the Sanwa case.
$40 + S/H takes it. This one is stained, clear coated, ready to go. Just throw your parts in and it’s ready.
As a test case there are some kinks that need worked out (button layout adjustments, staining, etc.) before our final Sanwa design. All of the info about what to expect is located on the purchase page.
We only have the one case available, once it’s gone it’s gone. We hope the buyer will give us feedback on the case, and hopefully post a finished picture for us to host and show others what to expect from the Sanwa design.
had to completely restrain myself from buying this. it’s not the cost, it’s just my wife’s disapproving gaze as i come home with more and more tools and build stuff each day. we just bought a house, but had we not, i’d be on this. $40 is a great price for that case. looks awesome and it’s already finished.
The finished and stained ones will be a little bit more, but they’re going to have some slight improvements in quality and material.
We haven’t decided for sure yet though, so I don’t want to confirm anything. But it will still fit in line with “budget” casing. And I think it’s safe to say it’s going to be cheaper than any other wood cases you can find out there.
We are also considering offering a DIY version of the Sanwa too, which will come un-stained. So that will be at a lower price point, and you can paint or stain it yourself.
lol, I hear you on that. I’m planning a wedding, my fiance watches my gaming purchases like a hawk right now.
Ordered on Saturday, Satek answered all of my question, and he responded to most in around 10 minutes each which is really good, and built the case on Sunday, Shipped it out Monday and I got it today and the case looks really nice. Good Build Quality, Great Service, and Great Price.
If I ever want to make a Sanwa stick, I’ll definitely order again
Just received my case! It was ghetto-ly packaged, full of crumpled magazine pages, but those pages were glossy and smelled niiiiiiice. I was sniffing them for a bit. Case is lovely too. Excellent craftsmanship.
Thanks again guys. Will certainly do bizness again.
Just got my boxes. The sanwa box is adorably small. I know the new ones will be bigger but I love how small this one is. The Happ box is just a little bigger and high enough to fit a wide range of sticks. I highly recommend these guys. They were very helpful, patient (I asked a million questions), and kept me in the loop the entire time. They sent me pics and emails to make sure I was satisfied.
Amazing service and work!
Hey Lucky or Satek, I wanna order some buttons and I was wondering which buttons were tested on the japanese style prototype box? Are they snap-ins or threaded? Will the see through seimitsu’s fit?
Got a DIY Happ/iL case from them with hybrid edges and gotta say it’s sweet! Hopefully I’ll have it primed by weekend but I might not. I really didn’t expect much for the price I paid but the box looks nice and feels solid.
