Ordered a 6 button for my Happ/iL stick to build. Great prices guys.
Here’s mine, but black buttons and black balltop haha. I also didn’t put in the screw on the bottom left hand side for the joystick because it was in my way when I tried to play.
How much more would it cost to get a Sanwa large with a 6-button Vewlix layout? “Moving” the “extra” 2 holes from the top to the side or on the top where the other 3 holes are would also be awesome.
Believe it or not, my wife wants a stick made, so I will definitely be looking into those plexi cases once available.

They should be available this upcoming Sunday, hopefully!
Anyways, here’s what I’ve done with the prototype, going to use it for myself.
Still not done, still needs a clear coat and I’m going to make it glossy hopefully.

Not that many, only about 4. I think I’ll be making 5, but LuckyDay is getting one for cheap :).
Also, to get the paint job as smooth and as good as I did, make sure that you make everything perfect before you apply the first primer coat.
If I ever make another one, I’ll probably make a guide on how to paint it. Or, LuckyDay can make a guide when he makes his.

There is a thread somewhere that shows how to wet sand MDF cases. I don’t remember exactly but it is in the tech forums. Search it.

Yes, there will be more runs. The first batch will only be 4 and each batch will probably not increase by that much, and if it does, it’ll only increase by 1 or 2 maybe at max.
With these plexi cases, you basically have to spackle the whole thing besides the faces of the MDF (The large flat side).
I’ll get a picture of mine up once it’s decently glossy and another picture when it’s completely finished with an AXISdapter

I would think the 32s would fit in the same space routered out of for the JLFs. The plates are pretty much the same size.
One more thing I meant to ask about those plexi cases:
What size can the artwork be to place under the plexi? I’m assuming standard 8.5x11, but I just wanted to know.

I know about that. I actually used that guide for my first QCF box. I just want to know what other methods people use to paint their box, especially a QCF box.
The plexiglass size is actually about 8 x 10 inches.
Hey, I’ll make you guys a guide for the plexiglass models. It won’t be the mirror finish but it’ll turn out like the one shown below. Clear coat hasn’t been sanded yet though.
Here’s the finished stick, not wired yet. Needs sanding on clear coat but just wanted to show it to you guys.
Artwork underneath is just plain paper, a little bit wrinkled though.
