The Fuhajin store does already cause a juggle state in Super. The only change they made to it in AE was making it launch higher.
Fair play, strange that i was never able to get it to work in the past though, will try it later when i get home still.

Anyone test this? I’m sure it doesn’t work.
Strangely it works. Its also really REALLY hard to do. For the most part its character specific as it is, and it doesnt work on Ryu (everybodys favourite training dummy) which is why its probably for the most part gone un-noticed. I did it on Balrog who i remembered juggled quite high in AE (enough for U2) and it worked but its tight since close mp and mk have slower startup in FSE. You pretty much need to use close Hp or far mp to get it to work all the time. Theres no point discussing it now because it becomes redundant in a month, wouldve been nice to experiment with it had it been talked about a few months back.
I tried to told ya. Balrog is actually one of the harder ones. I dont find it hard just do it immediately after the store. It looks wierd like it shouldnt hit.
Some characters like Sim and Viper juggle higher. Some you have to go for far MP since it starts up quicker under fse. Some you got to find the right way to combo into store.
Back when I said you can set up a fuzzy from fse thats one of the ways I was talking about. Remember my advice was to take the elements of a focus crumple reset fuzzy and find a way to do it by fse. I thought for sure one of yall would figure it out. Maybe yall did but just kept it secret.
Combine this w/ fuzzy in the corner, some characters are guaranteed to take damage(unscaled damage) if they try to do anything but block high, and it has to be a guess at that. If you guess high but Juri goes low, she can just put you in that situation again. If she lands the fuzzy, she can put you in the situation again. Balrog and Sim among others gets ****ed up. Its character specific but I think its the opposite of what that usually means. I think it works on like 95% of the cast but I could be wrong Im just going by old faded memory.(edit:talking about FB store reset here)
The fuzzies are probably 50% of the cast.
I hope she dont get nerfed once more people start doing it.
Another sneaky one is mid screen fse fuzzy set up that’ll leave em thinking “what the hell just happened” and then if you’re feeling lucky you can go for a second one while they are thinking it. Only works on a few select characters though.
Fuzzy has to be hit in just frame timing off resets, you literally get just 1 frame and it pretty much only works on a few select cast members, ive said it multiple times that ive never considered fuzzy a part of solid play, people forget that you can backdash out of fuzzys done off of resets, thats a pretty universal escape option, one pretty much everyone OS’s in order to cover. You cant OS when your jumping so why bother take the risk, if they backdash your probably looking to get punished too on landing or while your still in the air, for what? a divekick followup thats equally as unsafe on block.
Then consider that your actually in FSE, you can link off your overhead into big damage or into another reset, an overhead which moves you forward, whiffs low attacks like crouch tech and can sometimes catch backdash on its own. Why go for a fuzzy? I dont understand.
Why go for it? I dont know. Not only can you backdash fuzzys, you can block them high too:looney:
Why you should not not go for it? Because they dont see it coming. Because the whole purpose of the corner is to limit movement of the one w/ their back to it. If they want to backdash in the corner w/ an FSE activated Juri in their grill well they are a brave/cocky S.O.B. Because it makes them make a decision with an activated FSE Juri waiting for it.
Annnnd then cosidering that you are actually in FSE, you can follow the divekick w/ something other than divekick follow ups thus putting them right back in the same situation again.
About it being just frame, well Im sure it is on paper, but that shouldnt stop you from doing it. If you can… do, if you cant…dont try.
Juris overhead while pretty awesome when it works, its overrated. Seriously you want to know the answer to Juri’s FSE? Let her put you in blockstun. The only time to worry about Juri w/ FSE is before its used or after light attack. Once she puts you in blockstun all you gotta do is mash focus.
Now if you want to compare fuzzy to overhead of course the overhead is the more solid of the two. That shouldnt mean to disregard fuzzies. Oh and you can just back dash overheads too…
i guess until i see people start doing it in real matchs im going to remain pretty unconvinced, the only way id see practicallity in it is if you can reset into it with “automatic” timing, as in hit the button to reset them in the air and then just hold up forward, that would eliminate its difficult execution. Maybe one day when AE is out and im buzzing in the lab with all the new stuff ill give it a go, see if i can find one of these automatically timed jumps.
While we are talking about overhead, did you know Juri can actually combo into it lol. Its on one character and in the corner and he had to be standing to start off and she had to have a HK FB stored and FSE activated. Pretty useless but its there. It surprised me seeing as the OH is like 20 frame start up or something.

Actually if this is true that’s pretty sick. I’m happy. I gotta try it out.
I do not like to kd while in fse. People say my fse is really dangerous. And it is. I take huge risks But I really like the overwhelming aspect of juris offense. I want my opponent to feel confused and threatened.
If I hit a combo with a fireball stored ill almost always reset the scaling. Why? Because after the kd they can read and try an grasp what my plan is. I reset after the fireball because it’s the last thing they’d expect and does damage.
Now. With that being said… This is great. Even though the fuhajin store kd after a tech is fast this is faster. This is something I will try.
And mike… No offense… But who cares if Anyones using it in a match. I’ve had great success with Kara storing and no one uses this that I’ve seen…it’s very hidden.
And even if you can setup 1 fuzzy on an opponent thats good. People are not used to juri and her offense. We need to exploit this

I sense you don’t agree. Ha.

Can someone post a video of what is being discussed? From what I understand you guys are saying:
- Combo into Fuhajin Store
- Reset
- Fuzzy with j.Strong?
More Neo goodness

You have it right, turn on FSE, do fireball store, hit them in their juggle state with mp to reset them, try do a fuzzy j.strong on the 1 standing frame on that reset. They juggle really low in Super so its much harder to do, but its apparently, according to tango, easier on Dhalsim.

I can see an application of this for style points, but outside of that, why would you go for a reset attempt that only nets a dive kick + followup if successful?
Okay Ima upload it just cuz I kept buggin you about that video.I was gonna put them all together in a video but really I never get around to doing it. I suppose I could still do it later or…since you doing a vid soon(right?,right? eh?)I could just send them to you
A short sample:
YouTube - balrogcornerfuzzy
YouTube - fuzzyoffCl.HP
YouTube - doubleupfuzzy
Combine this w/ Mikes favorite weapon of choice, the overhead (j/k), tk Divekick, and overall awesomeness of FSE and all I gotta say is “oooooh”
Because the reset puts Juri at a shit ton of frame advantage. Fuzzy isnt the only option. She can overhead, meaty low, dash under, jump fwd cross up/fake cross up or straight up throw.

/Beardstroke These would be pretty hype to land in tournament. What do you use to record your videos?
The only reset I have planned so far is a “Dash Under” type in the corner.
I use a hdpvr and a laptop. I dont even know if I have the settings right or if the laptop affects the quality but at least it records lol.
Anyways Im not saying you should go for the fuzzy all the time. Probably not even 10% of the time But Just Imagine landing it once, now you got them thinking about it. I guarantee you they’ll be more worried about that than the overhead. Once you land it once you dont even have to attempt it again, just hull them out with High/low FSE from then on. They’ll be scared to even try late throw os after you beat it w/ the fuzzy(depending on the character’s normals)
edit: heres a vid showing that you can still punish their panick attempt if the fuzzy whiffs. It doesnt have to be a fuzzy, it coulda been a cross up attempt. or you could just block and wait for them to mess up like normal.I was just trying to show how after you make them think they have to do something, how you can still punish and set up reg. street fighter tactics like safe jump offense even after you fail.
