EX Psycho Crusher becomes vulnerable on the same frame it becomes active, meaning you can throw it if timed correctly. I wonder if it might be possible to option-select that with a safe meaty.

Yeah, I figured you could do something like that, at least from a safe-jump. I’m wondering if we could OS the throw while dialing a meaty FSE string, and what the timing would be. My only concern is that it would only punish one of his reversal options, so it would still be somewhat of a gamble.

Hmmn on knockdown I tried the os throw off of a cr.LK and it worked:
On whiff: :d::lk:,:lp:+:lk:
On contact: :d::lk:,:lk:
and it works w/ fse , though its not actually a property of fse but you can continue after the 2nd LK. It blocks ex headstomp in time also.
While I was at it I tested this using the same timing:
:d::lk:,:ub:+:lk:+:hp:
This resulted in an os jump back HP that beat the ex Headstomp and “chases” the ex psycho.

You guys are thinking too complicated for dealing with PC -_-; After a knockdown just jump over and back over again to deal with his backcharge, which only leaves him with an ex.DR or ex.Stomp option to avoid the initial mixup.

As for countering, I come from a line of characters that had very few options against Bison’s Scissor Kick pressure especially in the corner, so having the option to counter out (towards Bison to role reverse corner situation) is a godsend.

Naw I think we know about taking away back charge. I think you can use the throw os as a bait. they see you didnt take away their charge so they go for the cheese. Thus you are “making” them do what you want them to do and they get punished for it plus you prob. get in their head. With ex stomp/D.R., they waste meter but they can still get away no?

Either way the timing isnt the easiest. Taking away their back charge is probably the safest route.

Lol its cool Im lazy too. I was recording some fuzzy guard set ups from fse and I havent finished. I recorded for like three days straight and then I said I would record the last two examples “tomorrow” But then tomorrow became tomorrow again, that was about two weeks ago…I think. At the same time you gotta consider how many people have tournament experience against Juri. You still totally hit them with the unknown factor. In AE shes hella different too, id imagine because she can walk faster you could probably start a decent vortex with J.Hp off a backthrow and then position yourself faster to keep doing it should you want to. Reseting people in the corner with FSE off a fireball store is going to be godlike, no one will see it coming either, but its there. FADC off the second hit of Pinwheels, wont see it coming either. Totally need to use the new stuff to your advantage while you can.

I don’t plan my fights with the expectation that my opponent might not know the matchup =\ If they don’t then that’s just an added bonus =)

And CEO is 3 days after AE release, so there’ll be plenty of stuff for me to take advantage of =) Old and new.

You can’t. That’s a super setup I use often. Don’t work in ae. It’s a juggle now. You might be able to scmp after fuhajin summon but I haven’t tried.

That’s a bnb setup. I don’t like kd with juri. Lol. It’s something I must change. I don’t like giving my opponent a chance to think.

Learning to capitalize on knockdown more is what I think all juri’s are gonna have to learn soon. But then again I don’t really use fireball store for knockdowns now so I doubt I’ll really change that.

You might be thinking about something else dude, in AE fireball store starts a juggle, and in the corner in FSE you can hit them into a reset off that juggle with mp/mk, thats what im talking about at least. If you want to be vague and ambiguous though i cant argue further.

Fireball store doesnt juggle in Super so its not possible. At least normally, Fireball store only juggles in Super if you catch them in the air with a counterhit (not gna happen).

Fire up super, get Juri/dummy in the corner, start up your fse, combo into your fb store, try to hit them w/ your MP…tell me what happens. I mean I got it recorded and everything.Nothing vague or ambiguous. Its the same thing you just said you do in AE. I cant be imagining it. and uh…dont you sleep??
