In other news, noticed [media=youtube]rvrhZ3JUX30#t=5m7s[/media] has some Juri content. Nothing earthshattering, although (FSE activated) cl.HP > cl.HP in the corner was interesting, might be usable for meterless FSE combos.

If you want a practical meterless finisher, go for s.HP > s.MP. I think it’s better to just burn the meter for EX Senpusha, though.

That was insane, EdMa has pretty much changed my mind, i was gna play Abel when i went to Beat by Contest, but now im thinking just go for Juri, i have to say that was inspiring. He lost with his “god tier” alt, switched to his main and pulled a win. Also i cant believe how many things he did in that match that i said to myself “i would just do this”. Like how he neutral jumped on balrogs wakeup, cz he knew that headbutt would just fly past anyway if keno went for a reversal wakeup headbutt. Also when he had super in the corner but just went for 4 Ex fireballs, thats honest to God the story of my corner life, i always spend my entire meter on ex-fireballs in the corner.
And if you look back in matchup threads ive talked about how balrogs way too hard to beat, but ive changed the way i think after playing this really good Rog player at my offline sessions recently. I realized what was there all along, how safe cr.mk is to throw out in Rog’s frame traps, it goes under most of his headbutt traps including lame dash uppers/straights into ex headbutt, you can punish that shit so hard. Also anti air cr.mp xx fireball store, and then cr.mk on reset, thats god like pressure starter, so is cr.mp AA dash under cr.mk xx whatever.

its pretty good, i like the whole running commentary and camera feed in the middle of the screen.
So i was under a rock this weekend with my gf. I heard of Ed Ma’s Juri being in the top nine. watching some of the vids makes me happy that Juri is getting some great exposure. She has a lot of potential and i hope to see more Juri players repping.
What sucks is that… It’s quite big because of the loss of quality. If it’s smaller it’s a bit tough to see. I tried transparency but it didn’t look that good.
The way the on screen meters are placed makes it tough to place pip. I’ve been trying to find ways to improve this short of a new camera. Ha.
The sucky thing is I do wanna travel and meet people and do the same thing as a group ala the excellent adventures. But again… Quality. You know? I think gootecks and Ross are mic’ed also.
I am planning to get a hd recorder, but again…moneys.

Ed Ma has an amazing Juri. Undoubtedly the best Juri I’ve seen so far (much better than Neo by far). He doesn’t store/use needless fireballs; he uses just enough to zone and get in to apply pressure with normals.
Looks to me that WeirdoNeo wasn’t that familiar with the Seth matchup, Seth’s mixups are nasty.
I wasn’t just referring to Neo in that video. I’ve seen his other vids; I don’t think his Juri is nearly as polished as Ed Ma’s. There is a definite gap imo.
I only wish Ed Ma would play more often.
not in the best light ive seen Neo play. He never tried anything vs the tandem pressure and ate alot of bare headstomps, you can dash under those or even try the counter, hell in anycase its Online Tony, who can honestly say they have played a Seth as good as his.
