The overhead? Not a chance. j.rh gives way more hitstun than the overhead. f+mk gives like +6 at best IIRC, and thats on CH or while FSE is active.

Juke777, u have to press nearly instanly after the safejump jHK the cMK (piano ftw) and then with i very short delay the fuhajin (leg raise). if ur not gonna delay the fuhajin then u will not get a jHK, fuhajin on hit, nothing will come out after the jHK. the whole OS is not that easy but against certain MUs a must have, imo.

BentoBox, nope (hooray!) hes vulnerable box is quite bigger than juris so he gets hit by mostly everything in the recovery, dont tested it against all stuff - maybe he can dodge goukens projectiles and eventually rose but i dont think so.
TangoBlast, sounds interesting - i knew that close st.mk gets airborne on startup and u cant be thrown out in that moment but like u said, its very strange…the frames where she is airborne are damn short. the only situations i take advantage of is when i try to throw bait/frame trap some1 with clk/clp/cl.lk, short walk in, cl.mk xx fuha. the idea to use it against cammys mixup in defense sounds rly good, im gonna test and check it out those days, thx.
Thanks. A safe jump is just jumping in when they are down and doing it in the right spot so the reversal can’t hit you right? Or is there something more that I’m missing? :looney:
Safe jumps are delaying the timing of your jump attack so that if the opponent doesn’t do a reversal with invinci frames they are forced to block but if they perform a reversal with invinci frames to cause your jumping attack to whiff you’ll land and block before the reversal becomes active and hits you. The timing is obviously different between an untechable knockdown and a techable ones. Also, there are some characters you can’t safe jump in on like shotos. There DP becomes active on the 3rd frame which is too fast to safe jump properly.

Ending of the money match was sad stuff, chipped to death by super. 
Youtube comments on that match are simply too dumb for words though.

I was that match as well, great match Killey.
Trust me those matches with Daigo was just bad Juri play. Daigo just respects players too much and he let me get away with a lot of things. At Evo I didn’t play any warm up matches so I went into my pools cold turkey and I opted to use Viper for my matches. I went 2-2 though should have won the second match if it wasn’t for a whiffed Ultra. I would have had to play Happy Tang Kai had I won that match. Standing around for 1-2 hours between matches, dehydrated sucked ass and I was pretty fatigued. When I MM’d Daigo it was after the semi’s finished. The Salty Suite was crammed with 30+ people with nerd sweat and bad BO. Some doorman and security kept telling us to be quiet every 5-10 minutes so can’t get hype during the incredible matches going on in the high rollers tourney and various MM’s. Daigo shows up at like 3:00am and says he’ll MM anyone for FT5 $100 min. A buddy and me were like “fuck it lets do it”. I played Daigo at 3:40am with no prior warm ups and I hadn’t been practicing Juri that much 2-3 days before Evo but I figured Juri would have given me more chances to get a win rather then Viper. I look back and think I should have used Viper for at least 1 set. Lots of mistakes throughout the matches and I didn’t play my usual Juri until the last set.
I don’t think daigo respects ppl persay, imo, he plays patient to build super quickly for big dmg in round 2, while simultaneously reading the players patterns. After he picks a pattern, he can just mash dp, fadc ultra to cluth a win.
I saw the Cross Counter vid between you and Daigo just now. It’s funny because they were saying “If anyone knows this matchup, it’s Daigo.” And he clearly didn’t, you were making textbook mistakes that he didn’t punish and you managed to keep it close to the end.
I think you know everything you did wrong though, no point in me criticizing. You probably know of using the MP for poking, I think S.MK is a little bit better against Ryu’s C.MK, that’s about it.
I wouldn’t say that was bad Juri matches, sure you made mistakes what not, but who doesnt and you did pull some pretty neat stuff. But hey, at least you’re modest. It was a interesting match to watch and picked up some neat tricks to mess with opponents head.
