Ran a set today
We are hard at work on a new character, will have something to show in the coming weeks.

Not ready to show most of what I’ve been working on but here is some footage with some engine changes. Camera has been adjusted, hit stop adjusted quite a bit, performance improvements as always, buncha little things.
Also added a Whiff Punish mechanic similar to how Counter Hit works, adds a bit of reward for landing moves in the neutral game.
Got some good performance improvements in the new version of Unity and did some iteration on the camera with the newly added clarity, along with some airborne movement collision box size changes. Super Freeze now zooms out and decreases field of view rather than the opposite.
looks fun for sure. I like the vector aesthetic, but the gfx are looking too barebones atm
Agreed! FX as always needs work but we’re not focusing on it much at the moment, but will probably polish that aspect quite a bit by GDC.
I’m looking forward to this game. Looks more and more polished with every update.

Punches and kicks feel nice and heavy when they connect, well done on the game feel.
How does the comboing of normals work? Do they chain into each other or are they links?

Do you have plans for a closed/public alpha or something? Could be useful to gather feedback from people. I want to try this game out! =)
It got Greenlit so it should be on Steam Early Access soon…
Perhaps once I start testing my netcode implementation but we’ll see once we get there. I can’t wait to release this out to the wild so people can really dig into it but there’s still so much to be done.
That depends on what your definition of soon is…
