Public Shooting and GC Thread: Active Shooter reported at LAX

yeah, have you seen the documentary on that shit? its the truth and extremely scary. just own niggas all day with that shit, and they make it in the jungle on some backyard bootleg type shit. the flower is actually here in california san diego. i see it all the time, but obviously the recipe for disaster is what only a few have, or im sure its somewhere in the corners of the internet. its super dangerous shit that can turn anyone into a manchurian candidate.

so if backyard thugs in colombia have this type of shit, what do you think is already out there and has been when it comes to mind altering bio tech, and what other kind of mind altering tech is out there in general. craziness mane.

lol right, but i disagree with the conspiracy theorist hate. the haters are no worse then the nutbags sometimes. both are usually very ill informed and talk sideways out of their ass. you cant say put down the tom clancy novels when we have shit like mkultra hanging over the cia’s head. one of many things hanging over their heads. when members of our government at one point say it is okay to use the citizens of the usa as guinea pigs for mind altering and control experiments without their consent, only to shun off the victims as crazies, and the conspiracy theorist as reaching bored maniacs, only to get exposed because after shredding all the documents on it, it was mislabeled financial documents that lead to the exposure of mkultra, and an official apology by our government by ex president bill clinton, i have to start to heavily question my government officials. thats just one of hundreds of reasons though.

thats just one VERY heavy scandal with documentation to back it up that would have been nothing more then a conspiracy theory if not for the slip up. i know of at least 1 victim that the government settled with, im sure there were more. false flags happen all the time, and at the cost of whoever it takes to get the job done. thats not even a conspiracy, thats just some control 101 shit.

i mean i know there are some things that push the limits within conspiracy theories that people arent willing to accept, and may itself be a victim of disinformation that people are holding on to dear life as fact, but the truth of the matter is, there are a ton of substantiated conspiracy theories. some just flat out exposed, others that have enough evidence where you may cannot take it at 100 percent fact, but at least a good 80 to 90, like the nsa monitoring, filtering, and saving its citizens internet traffic without our consent.

reptoid interplanetary “aliens”, stargates, time travel, political satanic cults, etc… yeah, those take a bit more faith to wrap around and most of the info from it are from whistleblowers or just personal encounters. but i digress im getting to far off point.

to me, the conspiracy theory is that our government staged this to take away our guns. thats overly simplified and a bit nutty. the reality is that there is a connection to the past two shootings, the libor scandal, early reports from this shooting like the last have varied and always started off with two shooters, and no reporters are asking the real questions and inquiring into the contradictions of earlier reports.

could there be vested interest in pulling off false flag ops in order to begin to gradually unarm the citizens of the usa, and eventually the world (un bill)? maybe, but whose behind it, pfffft, fuck if i know, and like earlier said, thats the problem with guys like alex jones is that they immediately jump right to a conclusion when the answers are really just not that super clear.

one things for sure, the motive for this shooting is a big wtf, but i also heard reports that adam had tried 5 TIMES TO GET GUNS and was denied by the retailers. so the dude had something in mind for sure if thats true, but did he have help and why. i mean the gardner said adam went shooting with his mother fairly often, so maybe he just wanted his own guns, and not guns to go kill people, and where the fuck did he get dat body armor from. random. lol

Which one of you guys is this:

I’m saying there’s a high degree of variance depending on the circumstances of a completely hypothetical civil war. Depending on how many people are in revolt, the outcome will change drastically. Given the fact that most americans don’t seem to care or protest when the USA abuses its power throughout history, I don’t have high hopes that a country wide resistance would happen. It would be trivial for government to crush pockets of resistance. Everyone else would just be watching american idol and not caring. If the majority of the population revolted, then it would be guaranteed success. Furthermore, I attribute low chance to success in US because our drone technology is getting smarter and smaller. If we extrapolate from this trend of technology getting better exponentially, in the not so distant future, US will be able to trivially deploy a network of tiny aerial drones the size of insects or smaller that would allow them to have 24/7 monitoring of everyone in the country, and that would be able to carry out precision assassinations that would end revolts before they could even happen. In such a case, winning would actually be 100% impossible.

Until then though, guns do keep governments honest. Its the entire premise of the social contract. Government only exists because people decide to give up some of their liberties, in order so that the rest of their rights can be preserved. If a government abuses its power and strips people of too many of their rights, it is the peoples duty to overthrow it. No guns, no overthrow. Governments don’t get overthrown without weapons. Guys like Gandhi got lucky.

As for the civil war being winnable by the south, that’s getting off topic. However, lots of people in the North didn’t really want to fight the war. This number grew larger as casualties and losses mounted. Lincoln just jailed most of the protesters and suspended Habeas Corpus to quell the complaints. The game plan of the south should have just been to demoralize the north enough so that Lincoln never got reelected, and someone who wanted peace instead did get elected. Andrew Jackson once had a plan to capture the capitol in the North, Lee never approved it. Obviously, given the North’s superior numbers and manufacturing base, they never could have held it. But it wouldn’t have mattered, because winning a war is just about crushing the other sides will to fight. Losing the capitol would have been a huge symbolic defeat and Lincoln would not have been reelected, potentially ending the war depending on who replaced him. But they didn’t even have to capture the capitol. Any attack into the north for a period of time would have demoralized the north, even though it would eventually be repelled.

Well the difference is the degree of difficulty in which to rack up a high kill count. But the reason people bring it up is because somebody who is mentally deranged enough to kill multiple kids, is going to be deranged enough to overcome the high barrier of entry and still kill lots of people. I think figuring out some way to address mental health problems would be a better solution, perhaps in conjunction with banning military grade hardware.

Of course, that’s just speaking about school shootings, which is a minuscule % of the deaths due to gun violence. Most of them come from handguns I believe. In that case, there should be very strict guidelines on who can and cannot get a gun. In such a situation, it would help to have stringent gun ownership requirements. This makes sense. Criminals could still get them, but depending on how much resources we devote to enforcement, that may or may not be a problem. In China, people go on stabbing rampages because dudes can’t get guns. Of course, in China you don’t have very many rights either. Probably because the type of government that devotes all those resources to draconian enforcement isn’t big into stuff like personal liberties. So I don’t know if its worth the trade off to have that sort of enforcement. god knows the DEA has abused its power way too many times. Given how the US has failed miserably in the war on drugs, I think it would fail in enforcement, but I do believe overall it would improve things. Anytime you increase the barrier of entry, it will help.

Of course since the people who die in these handgun shootings aren’t white people, I don’t really care about them, so their deaths don’t factor into my thought process. trololol.

Final thought: I don’t know if this stat holds true still, but when Freakonomics was written, guy talked about how more kids drown in pools than die to guns. The media will focus on the sensational, not the mundane, so I think its important to keep that in mind. We are not in the middle of some crazy crime epidemic, things are actually better than they were in the past. So its best not to be too negative about things.

But therein lies precisely what I’m getting at. A solution that is not going to stop someone deranged enough to kill multiple kids might stop someone deranged enough to kill multiple adults, or one kid, or a couple police officers, or a politician, or whatever. People have plenty of excuses for not doing anything, and most of them center around the fact that they won’t stop one specific variety of violence and ignore the fact that it might address others. There are gun crimes of lesser or different degrees, you know. Most, perhaps all, are more common than the one that happened in Connecticut.

Not that I’m attacking or defending any particular solution, mind you. I’m just tired of seeing the same bullshit over and over again that amounts to throwing sand in the gears of the dialogue.

And I was the first guy in this thread to bring up the issue of poor mental healthcare, you jumped-up punk. :coffee:

Yall hear about that loser kid in CT thats pushing a ban on “violent videogames” following this ordeal?

Always trying to point the finger.

Nice try tyt for carefully hand-picking those gun facts. Here’s another FACT:

“Within 12 months of disarming Australian citizens, homicides were up 3.2%, assaults were up 8.6%, armed-robberies were up 44%, unarmed robberies were up 21%, unlawful entries are were 3.9%, and motor vehicle thefts were up 6.1%.” Admittedly, for a long while I had trouble finding the origins of these statistics, though I did contact Australia to double-check them. Now I have a link to a page of crime statistics put out by the Australian government which generally confirms these numbers. That page is located at http://www.abs.gov.au/websitedbs/c311215.NSF/Australia+Now±+A+Statistical+Profile/2C2A842ACC44F31DCA2567220072E990/.

I just asked how the technology in Psycho Pass was allowed to fly in society after watching the show. Reading this thread has made it clear that you guys want us to head down that path. Recommending the show to anyone who is anti gun and shit. just see what happens. I think the show is a perfect storytelling of what would happen if you guys got your way.

Holy shit, am I the only one who feels creep out by that bitchass kid’s look? The hair and the face, makes my hair stand up. These lunatic shooters all got the same look, especially the eyes. Him and the theater shooter. Could be devil’s breath or just brain damage. W/e it is, kill them all. I’m pretty sure there’s more of these fuckers at home somewhere thinking of some fucked up shit to do next…

I swear, every where I go, my eyes are gonna be wide open like I just saw a leprachaun. Can’t feel safe no more. All this shooting and stabbing in public…
America is starting to become a fucked up country, not as fucked up compare to them islam or w/e you call them yet.

Gotta go wash my eyes now. Cant get his dumbass face outta my head now. Fuck. But if I had to pick between government conspiracy or coocoo in the head, I go with coocoo. The news are retarded. I think it was too much to handle at the time and infos were being passed back and forth to keep the families and people informed. Not to mention all the new stations wanna get first dips, thats why all infos being passed so quickly, causing errors. I hope it’s not some conspiracy shit though, cuz that would be fucked up. But for now, I don’t think so.

I just looked up the synopsis for this show. Where the fuck is anybody suggesting anything even remotely close to this?

Its my excuse to advertise the show, but i thought it was really interesting how what they did. i guess in my tiredness i was just saying shit. forgive me,

A pretty good op-ed about some gun myths.

Yeah cause this really solves the problem…smdh

Pretty adult words because I’m sure his parents helped write that PR bullshit.

Not even 1 minute into the vid and I was already disgusted with what came out of the first kid’s mouth. At least the CNN reporter asked why the kids even have those games in the first place.

Maybe more kids will dump their M-rated games so the rest of us don’t have to put up with them online.

gotta blame something. parents don’t want to actually be responsible for something.

And therein lies the problem: nobody wants to be responsible for, let alone look at, the real problem. Did anyone really think the NRA would come up with a solution other than more guns?
