well vic i just watched dodgeball last night and quite honestly i didnt like at all. oh well. good games at tekken 4 yesterday, im still learning but ill get there. oh yeah one thing i wanted to ask you, "if"i wanna use the guy, could you teach and help me learn sentinel? im honesly getting sick of ice man being the burden of my team. im fine with black heart and all but sooner or later hes going to have to tag out, and after that im left with ice man. which has NO MOBILITY at all. i was just curious how well that big guy will compliment my black heart. like: could he buy enough time for black heart to recover? could he build enough meter for black heart while hes still recovering? and so on. and perhaps the other way around. but i need a good secondary character to help out my black heart. so could you teach and help me learn him? if not, thats fine ill learn him slowly on my own.

you shouldnt have stopped playing with sentinel/commando yesterday! :mad: thats what i wanted to play against that duo. was trying to see whats the best way to box in (corner) your sent. have had several failed games there, but i was finally able to box you in. but you stopped playing at that duo! i wanted to practice against those two!!

FIRST OFF, i thought Dodgeball was pretty enjoyable, had a lot of good laughs, and some weird suprises(Chuck Norris, David Hasselhoff:lol: ) I will say i cant stand Ben Stiller, the only movie i liked with him was “Meet the Parents” only because Robert De Niro was in it. Cant wait for "Meet the Fockers"
WOW! I never thought you would wanna learn Sentinel, well the answer is yes, i can show you the ropes with Sentinel. So what team are we talking here Black/Sent/CapCom, Black/Sent/Sonson, or maybe even Black/Sent/Chun Li? Whatever floats your boat, but CapCom is the best hands down. Sent can help you everyway you want, yes he can buy you enough time for BH to recover, He can chip(not like Ice Man assist, but good) He can build lots of meter, but use them all just as quick. His ground assist gives all the cover you need, still need to watch out for Cable of course but good against mags, storm. I’ll show you some shit at the mall. . . Oh Shit, Black/Sent/CapCom can be a bitch to fight against.

Im a Vince Vaughn Fan(Swingers, Old School), thats why i went to see Dodgeball, plus there milton and lumberg from “Office Space”(another great movie) were in it. NOW to business, Sentinel is easier to learn then storm, he take more damage better than Storm, there chipping it about equal. Whom ever you wish to pick will greatly benefit you. OMG Yes i’m gonna get into T5. it looks awesome, and all the changes they’re making make it actually seem like they’re trying to make up for T4’s awfulness.

OMG:wtf: Tim Allen! that crazy home improvement guy with the the current host of family feud richard karn. I’ll admit i liked tim allen for a little bit, but he got old fast. (:lol: Remember when the simpsons made fun of the him when he was on the tracktor and accidentally funs over the neighbor Wilson, “Oh no i killed wilson, i guess its back to jail for me:lol:!” If you didnt know Tim allen used to be a drug dealer, and did some time, that was some funny shit. Nickels on wed was awesome. I played a ton of GGXX, MvC2, and 3S, all on freeplay. Too good for a 2 dollar admission…

And it was fun playing you Bullethead and Franx in GGXX, i’m sticking with Ky, but May is always a fun one to use when i want to annoy.:wink:

king of fighting 2003…20 wins? you only won 12, yes its 12 i know its still alot but while your on your record im actually figuring out the characters. trying to figure normals, what can connect to what what not… you can see from my game today if you were even watching. and hey i beat 2 people there earlier. :slight_smile:

as for guilty gear i think i know why it seems like im getting turned off by that game. you know how a year ago, i would play soul calibur but after a winning streak i would start losing interest and just screw around? or for MvC2 i would play with black heart, but after a while i would start losing interest and stop caring? but you would see me play for like 7-10 games in a row and lose (or win), but not care coz im having fun.

thats the same thing for guilty gear right now. when gg 1.5 hit the arcade at the hip i got good fast and was really into the game. why? coz it was a new game and i just wanted to play it coz its new and i was having fun.

but whats obviously driving me off the game right now is that. trying to re-learn GG X2, im into a competitive mode. im trying to think what beats this and this and that. how would i get out of the corner traps and etc. i think the way i play marvel or sc2 applies to that too.

it becomes “playing for fun vs playing to win” some people have fun by picking the god tiers in the game and beating people, but you know thats not my style. even playing mvc2 or marvel or scv chaos or whatever and you see me with a winning streak i start slacking off: letting go of block, taunting, porposely losing, or sometimes just standing up and walking away from the machine.

i guess im just going to practice gg x2 without thinking about pitting my character against so and so’s character and so on. just going to play training mode, and story modes and just play for fun. thats how i start most games, and thats how i still like to play most games.

i dunno just being serious isnt really fun for me at all. nor is fighting someone at the arcade who is super serious about winning when im definitely not serious.

oh well. we all have our own way of playing.
