Sooooooo I’ve been wondering for awhile, how exactly do you guys go about ‘rushdown’. This isn’t for one game only, but for every fighting game even, because the basics should stay the same, right? A lot of times when I don’t want to I start to turtle, it’s like a natural reaction I’ve developed. So the question stands, what do you try to do and how do you go about it when you start the ‘rushdown’? :o And Jojo don’t even think about saying “just rush that shit down man.” 
If you want my advise just stick what works, But this is coming from a guy who doesnt have the best rushdown in any game, BUT(not to talk trash) I have enough skill to take down anyone and everyone thats come to the mall and played MvC2) In MvC2 i play smart, i KNOW what everyone is gonna do, I know what Dave’s plans are with Magneto/Storm so i try to avoid most of his shit and when my turn comes i rush safely, calling sentinel for protection, then theres my trusty WELL TIMED storm launcher thats really pisses off EVERYONE:evil:. Just ask Allen. whatever gets the job is my moto, than there is Al Bundy’s way,“Its not cheating…if you dont get caught…!”
Now on to Guilty Gear, Im still very new to the damn game, if i know how to exacute half of those combos with Sol that i saw Dave pull, Tom your Slayer wouldnt stand a chance. Just gotta practice, be happy that Dave and Frank are better than us cause thats what will make us better. well make you better:D. Maybe its just me but that all slayer has is that Bite, is his offence any good? Just to honest i dont have a whole lot of trouble playing slayer.

See Vic, there’s something Slayer has that I can’t do. You know when I dash/teleport, you can’t hit me while I’m in the middle of it? Well, if I can dash/teleport then tigerknee a move then I can’t be hit while doing the move. I’m guessing this is widely abused, but I’m not sure at all. I think I just need to learn what his priority moves are and learn mixups with the D-step of his. Plus from what I’ve been reading a lot of people just poke -> Mappa Punch. :lame:
Oh yeah those guys from Minnesota taught me a few things in Tekken AND Initial D. Good times, good times.

"[MvC2] Wavedash into throw
Here’s a really good shortcut way of performing this technique.
For characters that don’t have certain QCF/QCB moves, you can wavedash then do the motion plus fierce/rh to get the throw. It’s easy and it works, and you can stick an assist easily into the initial down part of the throw. If they have moves for all QCF/QCB moves, you can do the standard DB,F method, but it’s a bit harder."
also david i pretty much got the motion of Baiken’s instant dragon punch. theres 2 ways of doing it actually you know how you do it this way?.. dragon punch motion, UF (tiger knee) slash? the other motion, which is easier for me, is HCB,UB,DF it gets buffered… its little more inputs but its easier for me that way.
