X-23/Lei-Lei/Tron is probably going to be my first team that I try. X-23 to pick up for Tron and for unblockables. Tron Drill assist can work for X-23 hop crossups or for Lei-Lei teleport crossups as well as filling possible gaps in X-23 blockstrings.

Anyway, corner throw combos made tron somewhat viable on point in mvc2, so seeing capcom pay special attention to her established play style is great. And that piledrover of hers os downright sexy.

And yeah I forgot to mention that you can use otg assist to pick up from her command throw(Seth was showing it on the stream) so X-23 goes well with her for that also.
If it’s in the corner you can combo Lunch Rush off said OTG assist as well I believe.

the drill is certainly punishable. from the vids i’ve seen, either use it to punish or in combos. capcom certainly seems to have fixed things like tron/sabertooth, so i doubt there will be much use of it in trapping. so far as its OTG, it seems to work from non-mashed. however, open-screen drills that land seem to link to king kobun.
Well in my opinion it’d be kinda stupid for something that gives as much chip as drills do to be safe on block. Though I imagine one can pop off a King Servbot to cover one’s tracks so to speak.
