what did they change …startup or recovery…at block its the same or?
the animation was 33 frames…they cut it to 29 frames (the recovery was cut down by 4 frames)
the hitbox is now bigger horizontally
the hurtbox stays for less amount of time than before
aha i see thats good but wish they changed the startup by a frame at least…its kinda slow
horizontally…if it was ver it would’ve been better…often the move goes through a jump in

Regarding the focus attack luffy attempted at 6:25, i’m not too sure it was a level 3 (the one that’s unguardable and crumples) : i think it was only a level 2 (the one you can guard). Though, he properties of rose’s soul satellites are so that if your opponent is put in blockstun by one of the orb, he can’t be crumpled.
Luffy knew that, so my guess is that he tried to make Justin jump and released a bit early to get him in the air.

My first ever tournament match. Its def not pretty, but I did win… Played Happy Medicine next round… got my butt kicked but he was a chill guy and said he saw some potential in my rose play ( that made my day!) Also forgot to do a proper button check and ended up paying for it. You will see me spamming st. hk / having a minor panic attack lol.

Me vs Shinji840 @ 2:36:50ish. Local tournament this past Sunday. Shinji840 is one of the top Vipers on XBL, I believe. Normally he plays Viper on pad, but his pad was malfunctioning that day, so he had to make do with his alt Sagat and a stick. Pretty sloppy game on both our parts, since this was the first time I brought Rose out in a long, long time. I eventually won the tournament with Akuma.

Yup. It actually works more than it should, people get scared of the balls.
Definitely looks better than my silly cr.HP xx MP-> Spark FADC U2, cl.HK-> slide reset into throw setup. Will give this a try next opportunity I get.
