Fixed.
I just don’t want to have to worry about money not getting paid on time. Also, quick question to you. BlazBlue, is CS pretty much THE standard for tournaments or would CT still suffice.

Pick me for the 5v5 on SFIV I think my game got much better from survival kombat. Ray I want a rematch
Let’s take this one home Portland 3s, HD and IV I’m taking top 3
The 10% was the same amount we took the previous year to pay for the room. I made a mistake assuming precident, and didn’t mention it in the payout information beforehand, which I apologize for. It wasn’t a last minute decision based on turnout however.
BlazBlue CS is going to be a difficult call, not unlike the release of GGAC console shortly before Evo.
The arcade version is out, but the console version has no release date announced yet. I wouldn’t be suprised if it comes out 1 month before Evo again (lol).
While I’d be down to play either game, there isn’t really a “standard” per se.
In areas where BlazBlue CS cabinets exist, people play that… but that’s a small % of the BlazBlue player base still.
I strongly believe BlazBlue CS console version won’t be released by the time this tournament happens (basis: the arcade release of CS was approximately one year after CT… console CS will probably follow suit as well, and come out around July).
So our options are:
#1: Run CT console version
#2: Ask nicely to some CS arcade owners to bring their Taito Type X2 hardware and BBCS
#3 Raid Aksys USA headquarters/Raid ASW Japan, and take some important person hostage unless they release CS early (Daisuke Ishiwatari?)
While I’m seriously leaning towards #3, I think the fair thing is to ask the players themselves what they want.
So this is just a team battle thing? The only game im interested in is HDR…
The main reason I asked this was because if the BB community is all “F-that game. CS is the new hotness” then that may murder the turnout if CT did happen at PSU (which is most likely)
I wanted to do number three too, but if you could possibly get a general consensus from the BB/DL community, thatd me awesome, I mainly ask this because I know you’re pretty deep into that community
CVS2 Side tourney!!!
oh boy, if the 2v2 goes down, i got dibs on kenji or dennis, if he still plays.
so whos on the portland team?
^ other than BBH all other spots must be earned 0_0
I think BBH or RBX should be captain and then they should be able to decide if they want to do some kinda of small tourny, or if they want to just pick a team based on who they think would be best.
Free_effect speaks the truth
Im captain of the team! Most people already know what it takes to make the team. for more info PM ME.
No im not on the team, All spots are open but i do have a idea who i want for the team.
Lol at your sig OMNE…
Gonna have to find a new job before I can make it to this (99% sure my current job isn’t gonna let me request this day off), but I wanna go.
don’t request it demand it, or call in sick X.x
5v5 Tekken plox
Yo. I’m planning on throwing a tekken 6 tourny at tilt on 1/30/2010.
Want to make it one that decides whos on the 5v5??
or who were thinking of 5v5 anyways? I’ll play for a spot.
This is a thread for the PSU Bragging Rights thread. Please keep other tournament discussion to either the Oregon Roster thread, or create your own tournament thread
Harsh. ;_; What he had to say was related. I mean, there prolly won’t actually be a real Tekken 5v5, but a little unofficial scrimmage would be fun if the Seattle guys are up to it.
So, that’s a vanilla 6 tourney at Tilt, I assume?..Is that a good standard when we’ll be playing BR at Bragging Rights?
