PSN Chun vs Guile match up endless

I can’t guarantee that I’ll be a formidable opponent, but I’m always looking for people to train against! My GFWL is EOT 00000100.

go online right now lets play real quick i got some time if you are available

I’d love to, but I’m actually at work and will be for the rest of the evening for our office party n_n;
I might be on later tonight, but add me anyway and we can get some games. I’m around fairly often.

Aw damn :frowning:

Hey, ryu-14 made a new troll account! Hi ryu-14!

Does he get banned or something? Why does he make more accounts?

computer is not even a year old… i spent a grand on it, got the best HP tower PC at best buy a few months ago. The grand was only for the tower. Not sure what resolution im using on pc but i have windows 7? not sure if that helps. I was given an A rating with bench mark but something slows down when im playing online. Dont think its my connection? My friend said it may be my graphic card but im not sure. here are my specs:

Hewlett packard
model HPE-410y
processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1045T Processor, 2.7 GHz
installed memory RAM: 8.00 GB
system: 64 bit operating system
Windows 7 home premium.

is that all you need? I cant imagine why this would be slow when playing

Should i lower my resolution? where can i find out where im at right now?

Ok

Your computer is definitely fine.

I know exactly what it is that slows you down.

First, Click Start Menu >> Right click “Computer” >> Properties >> New Window Should Pop Up >> On the left side, Click “Device Manager” >> A new Window Pops up and Click on “Display Adapter” >> It should show your video card, like ATI or nVidia xxxxx

That is how to check your graphics card

Now do this too…

Open up your SSF4 AE PC >> Options >> Graphic Settings

Make sure these settings are exactly as follows:
Frame Rate: Fixed
Resolution: 1900 x 1080 (1080p)

it lags because the frame rate setting probably. if it is VARIABLE, or SMOOTH, for some reason it lags badly

Wow guys, I just went on PC and first of all I was wrong about PC being dead and the competition being average.

Just checked the endless lobbies tonight and the list was full of different kinds of lobbies and it was packed for hours! It, was, AWESOME!

Not only that, earlier there was this awesome Ryu player who is a PRO. I mean… PROOOO. He plays with the top players like Shizza and is pretty damn good. I could hardly even beat him. And here’s the crazy part… HE WAS USING A KEYBOARD.

The point is, the PC community is growing and the competition is pretty damn good. Not trying to brag or put down XLive or PSN, and PC is definitely worth a shot

I wasn’t thinking it was to “prove who is better” lol, until you said it, it sounded like you have an issue with me but I know that’s not how you meant it lol. I didn’t know any Chuns on here had to prove themselves to each other and anyway Mirrors don’t prove who is better with the character (that would only be the case if the game only had one character). Anyway I wouldn’t care win or lose I don’t claim myself to be a great player.

I’m generally happy to play anyone, its normally fun and you’re almost certain to pick up a neat pattern, set up or something you don’t use often yourself. That’s the fun in mirrors for me, not winning (though that helps lol) but helping each other out with advice, tips etc… I do enjoy sets although I don’t really get the time to have really long ones normally.

Its a really kind offer btw and I’d take you up on it, only problem is I really aren’t a PC gamer. I don’t even own a decent PC only a laptop (which ain’t gonna run the game well lol) and I am from the UK not the US so our connection would be honestly pretty dirt :frowning:

I feel bad not really being able to play you as you really are willing to go out of your way for me and I know it would be fun, although I’d probably disappoint you lol… However like I said its not exactly viable and I really do feel bad saying no. As it is I struggle to get green bars with people in Europe half the time and when I played Rayarts the connection wasn’t good enough to play seriously at all (as I hope he’d vouch for). So thank you for the really kind offer but I think you’d be better off offering it to someone else on here… Shame I don’t live in the US cos most active Chun’s on here do and I know I’ll never get to play any of em :frowning:

^ It’s alright dude! No worries. Such a shame we couldn’t play, but sometimes fate just isn’t in people’s convenience. Perhaps someday I’ll get a 360 and we shall play

I really respect your humbleness though. And I would hate to clash together trying to prove who is better. I just like good challenges in general ^^

I can actually get good connection with people from Europe but that is only if I have a good internet connection like Comcast.

pops out of lurking

Hmmm, I may actually pick up a PC copy now based on what I read here. My biggest deterrent years ago was simply on account of my rig not having specs that were up to snuff. However, seeing as my specs are almost identical to OG, I am very intrigued.

The MadCatz sticks should work without any additional peripherals, right? (Plug 'n play)

edit: just remembered AE 2012 isn’t out for PC… so I’ll wait until then to pick up a copy.

To those asking about PS3 sticks on PC. The TE-S may not work work out of the box. I’ve read that if you have an via brand USB chipset that it will, I’ve got an nforce so mine doesn’t. Now my Chun Li special edition PS3 stick is plug and play.

You can check if it’ll work by just plugging it in before you buy the game by going to “game controllers” and doing a button check via properties.

Youtube video on getting a TE to work with PC.

The easy fix for nforce based motherboards is the $6.01(free shipping at time of posting), this is the USB card linked to in the video http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000JFJZGG

All (read: all non-garbage) sticks will work with PC. Some, however, may be a tad more complicated than PnP. You shouldn’t need additional peripherals (hardware), but you may need some fancy drivers/key mapping software. For instance, I know that PS3 sticks specifically have trouble with PC, but you can get software that allows you to map the inputs to keyboard controls (I.E., X on the stick is Z on the keyboard, which you can map in-game to :lk:, square on the stick is A on the keyboard, which you can map to :lp:, etc. etc.). So, in short, it will work, it just might take a half hour of googling (less, depending on your technical inclinations).

GET PC AND PLAY WITH MEEEEEEE.

I would play on PC, but the whole FGC where I’m from are on XBL, :frowning: I’m still new and I don’t wanna do things to further alienate myself from them. Like me being on PS3 lol.

Disregard everything, I got an Xbox.
