Alright, so I’m still new at this whole dual-mod thing as the only things I can “mod” from past experience are the simple change of joysticks and buttons. I’m currently having troubles with my attack buttons. The joystick, start and select/back buttons are working probably. My main attack buttons did work when I first attached them, then they didn’t work after I had to re-adjust my joystick harness. I’ve detached and re-attached the buttons and their harness to double check I put them in right, but once again none of the buttons corresponded in game.
TLDR; New to using a PS360+. Joystick, start and back button correspond, but the attack buttons do not. I dunno what I’m doing wrong.
I’m pretty sure I worded everything horribly, but if anyone can help me out and suggest what I may be doing wrong, I would be much appreciated!
Not enough info to go on, how did you wire your buttons?
Photos of your wiring would be nice

Ah, never mind. I figured out that I had grounded the wrong wire. Now my stick works fine with the ps3, but won’t get picked up on the 360/pc. I have a 12ft USB a/b cable and if I use that it connects perfectly to my ps3. Is it because I’m not using NEUTRIK NE8FDP RJ45 to connect it with that won’t allow use on the xbox? Or am I missing the wiring again. Also if it helps, I’m modding thin into a xbox360 TE.
Sorry for phone picture quality…if any more questions of osmething with my wiring please point it out. I know, it’s a tangled nightmare but bare with me lol.

um, whats the hanging wire? did you reconnect it after the pic? also, using the a/b will work with both BTW.

Yeah, was the Right Trigger. I reconnected it afterwards. Retested again and steam was able to finally pick it up. Was also hoping it would work for onlive when I’m on the go, but won’t pick up the stick. Does the PS360+ run on x-inputs? (I’m guessing yes still)
Other than that, I have no more questions and thank you everyone who helped me :]
I’m having an issue with my PS360-modded stick. I will often “lose connection with the Playstation Network” on the load screen right before an online match in SSF4AE after the stage selection screen, and I’ll get kicked out of the match right before it begins and lose a bunch of PP and BB. I never truly lose connection with the network because I can immediately create a new lobby. This happens like once out of 10 tries, give or take. To test it, I plugged in my stick with a Cthulhu and it was fine for 2+ hours with no interruptions. I have highspeed internet wired straight into my PS3, so I don’t think it’s an issue on that end. Anyone else run into this?
Find a shorter USB cable. I don’t know why they don’t tell you on the vendor’s listing or if it’s something they updated in the firmware (I could never get it to update correctly), but for whatever reason it can’t register an Xbox controller with a long USB. I had a 6 ft-ish printer cable laying around and that’s what I use now. For PC, just “force” the stick into Xbox mode, and it’ll work on PC. I think holding down the Medium Punch button as you plug in the stick forces it.
I partly disagree as I use 15 foot USB cables and have no issues.
The Kind of cables I normally use -> goo.gl/LPx1iY
Part of the issue how the USB cable is made cheaply.
Cheap construction + long lengths = craptacular USB cables
And you do not have to spend alot either, I usually by my cables from Monoprice.com
And the gold plating isn’t necessary, just that the wiring in the USB cable isn’t too thin and the cable have shielding

Ah, this helped plenty. I had no problem with my cable, but I did get the stick to cooperate when I forced it into xbox mode. Really appriciate that callout!
