I’m trying to make my own art template, but how exactly should I upscale images with minimal distortion?
For example, I made the following one with Morrigan.
However, since I had to resize the original art, it became jagged in the final product.

well increase little by little each time
for example you want to scale up a 640x480 pic to 1024x768
so u increase the increments by like 10 until u reach your desire size
so u would increase is to 650x490, then 660x500, then 670x510, etc.
the other option is to vector the drawing which is tedious if u have no experience
non yet it’s all just a design I’m getting my stick in june so I went ahead and start making Idea’s so if you got any tips on what buttons I should take please do

here is a second design I made for a friend of mine. Yes I know it’s sagat and not mb-02 but he is a mugen fan and well thats his fav char so thats why ^^ Though there is something missing about it (and I don’t mean the button namings)

And is it possible to shift down the art so the name Noel Vermillion will not be hidden by the buttons.

Yeah I tryed other options about the name by shifting it etc but let me see what I can do. I’ll change the button layout for you as well

so will the 8 button vewlix layout work with monkeying with it on photoshop? cuz with that one you can’t really get rid of the button holes lol
Do I understand you correctly that you are wondering how Im going to cut out the button holes ? I guess removing them from the back side of the template. And the buttons will cover a little part of the art so whats there will be covered as well I guess. This will be my first try so ^^
I tried printing off the vewlix 8 layout today and it was printing off way too small…I messed with all the print settings on my printer and within the printing option in GIMP and it wouldn’t work. I was wondering, am I doing something wrong? will it be different if I bring it to Kinko’s?
can you get it printed at kinkos or something?
if you have a Kinkos or comparable shop by where you live, that would be the best place to do it if you don’t have a decent printer.
