I’m glad someone else is wanting a Dan Background. I wish I could get just the background cuz I have an HRAP 3
Dan is THE man. OYAJIIIII
Very nice! Thanks! I’ll use that for my FS3. Next to figure out what to put for my Wii FS. I can’t find any good TvC pictures to put as a template.
Oh MAn that Dan is sick! Make more!
Someone have a barolg’s template?
Anyone have a Vewlix template? I see the around for HRAP2’s / HRAP3’s but not FS3’s.
I had some problem with the size of the print of the C.Viper template.
Went to Kinko’s and had it print actual size, it seem like it was a tad slight small to the HFS3 size. Plus the button holes were off align. The left most side I cut exactly on the end of the picture. If not and align it with the FS3 , it would leave the white part of the paper. Maybe it was me that f’ed up.
The after result:

Is it me or the printing?
Ooo, that Vewlix is nice, might think about putting that on my WiiFS.
Pwoar, thanks a bunch! you’re a legend
hi can i make a request for a cammy template? your templates are wicked btw!
Do you have the 9 new challengers template without the button icons? Thanks!
hey guys, I see some people are having problems. I’ll use the New Challengers PSD as an example. When printing these templates in photoshop, turn off/disable the All Buttons, Stick, and Outside Area Layers.

To disable/turn off certain layers, just press on the EYE icon next to each layer. After disabling these three layers, it should look like:
http://img25.imageshack.us/img25/6208/fs3tut2.jpg
You can turn off any layer you want, but for printing do this:
Disable All Buttons, Stick, and Outside Area Layers
Enable Pin Points Layer
You can also turn off the button labels if you want.
If you have noticed, I enabled the Pin Points Layer, which was created in order to help on centering the template on the FS3 metal control panel.
Now, when printing, this template should fit on a regular Letter size (8.5x11) sheet in landscape mode. Print at 100% and do not resize. Even if photoshop complains that some of the image will be cut off, print anyway. If you want to be sure, print on Legal size.
After printing/laminating, turn over your template, it should look like:

I’ve circled the Pin Points. Either mark these points with a pen, drill/cut through it, or anyway to see these points more clearly. I just marked it with a pen.
Now put your FS3 Metal control panel on top of your template, centering the holes with the pin points. You can either hold the metal plate down or tape it down, and then cut around the metal panel with an exacto/sharp knife. If you do it slowly, you should get an exact fit for the panel. Do not cut the button/stick holes yet.
Mount your template on the metal panel with some kind of adhesive (if you got lamilabel it would be easy) and flatten it well. I used a (full) can of soda, rolling it over the template.
After mounting it and making sure it adheres well enough, turn the panel over and carefully cut the holes with your exacto/sharp knife, using the panel as the guide for the holes. You should now have a perfectly(?) fitting template!:amazed:
Please ask more questions if you’re stil not sure.
I’ve got some of my parts in. Though I’m still waiting on my red buttons. They will go with my all black Sanwas I ordered from Akihabara. I was originally going to try and dig up a pic of Darth Maul’s tatoo pattern to go with it but could find nothing so I’m trying to decide which of these templates to go with. I’m thinking the Sol one.

Also for my stick with clear buttons that I plan on puting art on I’ve come up with this.

This one though, really need some find of background. I was originally hoping to use this wallpaper as fight stick art but i wasn’t the right ratio. could someone come up with a similar background for the current template?
