Just threw together this Sinestro template. I bought a yellow balltop and yellow buttons without much thought about artwork. I think I may settle for this or do a University of Michigan theme.
Quick question: Where are you guys finding the fonts for the button labels, e.g. square, x, r1, etc.? I’ve seen some cool ideas on this thread and I would like to see what would fit with my stick design…
I completely forgot that we had a thread for this sticks templates. reposting this from the “modding the Hori Fighting Stick 3” thread.
Wrapped up the two TvC templates I’ve been working on, I’d appreciate a bit of feedback on these. I plan on printing them up soon. Grabbed the border from one of d3v’s templates, and heavily modded the hrap BB template someone did a while back.

I’ve just basically extracted the main design of the BB HARP2 template and fit it on the FS3. Then added a generic BB background; added some BBCS portraits, sprites and text as a personal touch. Hope you guys like it.
Note: download contains designs for the original 14 BBCS cast.
EDIT: Re-uploaded .psd as I made some tweaks to the background positioning. Added an updated, higher quality preview.

Just ordered a HFS3 recently and ran into all this,
Never realized you can customize a stick to this extent,
all your ideas for custom skins are straight up breath-taking!
Major top props to MIVLives and the other designers.
As soon as I have some money I’m gonna get started on my 1st time mod.
Hopefully some of you guys who know what you’re doing
are still on here to help me out a little bit.
I can paint my own design, just might need some guidance on everything else.

My Stick with modifications to improve it completely. Sanwa OBSF-30 buttons (replacing the crappy hori buttons) and the Stick is highly modified; Sanwa spring added, I replaced the lubricating grease with Walgreen’s Beeswax lipbalm (it works wonders), added stainless steel washers to elevate the shaft and to put it at a better height. Art done in photoshop CS5. Square Gate replaced by one original Sanwa and bat top. Future Mod - Compatible with Xbox 360 by means of Imp + hacked pad of madcatz.
