These are setup to correct dimensions for the HRAP 3 series, right? Just want to make sure before I take the time to make my own artwork. Still on the fringe about what stick to get, but I’m leaning more towards the HRAP3 SA
Much appreciated. Searched around for a while but couldn’t find it
My first attempt on trying to create a fun stick design. Ideas and suggestions welcomed!

MadCatz SE template
I’m such a noob to all of this graphic template stuff and this may not even be the right size image to edit, but can someone take this image and make a madcatz se template for it, remove the 2010 and japanese letttering under Super Street Fighter logo, and place the Super Street Fighter IV logo under the buttons in the bottom right hand corner, and place the characters and japaneses lettering on the leftside of stick opposite of left side of joystick hole? Thanks. Here’s the link of image…http://www.thebanzaieffect.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/ssf4_bg-640x390.jpg
Not meaning to get off topic but can anyone tell me how to design a hori ex2 template using the Adobe indesign software, Cuz i dont have a clue where to begin. I’d really appreicate it
InDesign isn’t really a good program for designing stick art templates. You’re going to need the templates in .psd format to be able to open them up with Photoshop and Illustrator so you can add the actual vector or raster artwork later on.
Take some measurements and draw up the shapes in Illustrator, Photoshop, or, if you’re broke, GIMP. If you need a tutorial, just Google it.
So i just downloaded photoshop so i can make myself a template for my wii hori stick. im using a pretty big picture, but when i place it on the blank template, it is way too small… do i need to just find a HUGE picture? thanks for any help.
Finding a huge picture is usually the best course of action, but if you can’t find a big enough picture then you can always resize it a bit. Using the Move tool, there should be an option near the top of the screen to enable the bounding box, from which you can just grab the corners of the image and resize.
Be aware that resizing too much can distort and degrade the image quality, and you’ll want to do a couple of test printouts to ensure that it still looks okay on the final product. There are also some tutorials on how to help restore some of the image quality on resized images. Just hit up Google and experiment a bit.
Try free transform and stretch the pic to fit. If the pic looks blurry, its prob to small.
sorry if im askin n00b questions but, im still working on my image, and im wondering if the buttons are going to cover a little of my image? i have the dots for where the buttons go, but im thinkin they are going to covor even a little more of my picture then that. am i right? thanks for all the help this site seems very helpful so far =D

Typically the buttons will cover a very large portion of the image, which is why a lot of stick builders use clear buttons so they can retain some of the parts that are normally covered by the buttons.
I’m not sure which layer you’re looking at on the template, or even which template you’re using, but MIVLive’s templates should have a layer for pin points and a layer that maps out the actual size of the button holes. If you only see small dots where the buttons should be, you have the wrong layer visible.
Well thanks for all the help guys, i just got done cutting out the holes. its my first one so go easy =P the cell phone picture really dosent do the color depth justice tho.

i love sakura… but couldnt bring myself to have a sakura stick for wii… so i decided to make her a cheerleader for ryu in TVC :wgrin:
do you HAVE THIS WITH XBOX CHARACTERS
need chun li psd pland on modding
There are also pieces of software that’ll enlarge images without blur; they do this with a lot of math and CPU power. Photo Zoom Pro and Genuine Fractals are two good programs you could try. Usually the results are more-than-good-enough for printing, but the results are better with higher resolution source images so find the biggest image you can find! For a Hori FS3, I took something 2000x1000 and scaled it up to 6000x3000. If you can’t afford programs like these, I’m sure you can find someone who has them and can scale an image for you (or something like thatcough).
An unassuming question.

Hello there! Concerning your DeeJay template, could, no scratch that, would you, please do this in Purple? With the SE Fightstick template? If not, I understand as well!!
Thank you for your time!
Hmmm…
Thanks to everyone on the forums I was able to complete my first stick mod every. Take a look. I messed up a bit around the edges of the picture but I am very happy with the result

Looks nice, more_cowbell!!
