Ok found a free program called faststone viewer that should let me print out psd files so that is a step in the right direction, for some reason I get an error when going to all of MIVs template links on that rapidshare file sharing site of his.
Also the greenlantern link looks like maybe the file was too big to show, I will upload it to my own site and add a link.
Hey, thanks for linking that template! After using a PC with PS, I successfully converted that template for the FS3. The only things I couldn’t do were the stick and the buttons (although I did manage to create the design for the future, as I may purchase some clear buttons for my other stock FS3).
Sadly, the converted template is saved on the university’s public PCs since I was too lazy to compress + send the image via e-mail to myself. At the very latest, expect it uploaded by mid-September, since that’s when I go back.
Or, if you live near UC Berkeley (and you’re a student), just access the comp lab. PM me for the specific file name.
awesome templates!! can anyone make a template of mvc2 only using xmen team members?? if all the characters can be on the left facing right and the mvc2 logo on the bottom right?? i will post links for the drawings
Yeah, I agree. It’s just that I feel that there might not be enough to cover the entire stick panel and extending the art background might be easier when it’s vectorized.
Hey guys, new here, just picked up my FS3 yesterday, been busy trying to make a Street Fighter Alpha III template.
What do you think of these two designs?
Criticism is welcome, since I’m not entirely convinced that they’re working as they are right now, but I’m also not entirely sure why they’re seem off.
Hey Hero that is nice work, did you make that yourself?
If you are able, can you take that Castle Crashers file I linked above and overlay those button symbols on top of it for me? The file is almost perfect as is but I really want to add the X, O etc button markers.
Hey, jdm714, thanks for the feedback. I completely forgot about the rims; guess I’ll resize the font.
I intend using the stock-standard buttons; I’m not modding the stick (I’m a complete newbie, so this is my first arcade stick), but I am interested in changing the template.
rapturedj, nebrunner, thanks for the compliments, and yes, I did make it myself. I’d like to help you, nebrunner, but the art you provided is of a fairly low resolution, so it won’t look too great once it’s printed out.
I recommend using a service like Vector Magic to create a vector image, which will allow me to scale the size of the image without quality loss. It should be quite accurate since the artwork uses fairly simple shading and shapes.
Although people make request here, this is not a Thread to do so.
No one has to fulfill anything here.
There is a Stick Art Request Thread in Image Mishmash.
And it is cooler to provide pictures, instead of straight ask.
Especially when you are asking for specific color; Tager in Black.
