Seriously, I keep losing connection during the Kombat Tomb stage pretty much everytime I play. The only time it won’t happen is seemingly in the late afternoon. I don’t see anyone else complaining about this, so I must be SOL.
Ok, the ranking system IS streak based. It posted my 14 win streak, but not my 20+. Aint that a bitch.
And Dream is correct. Although i havent played MK2 competitively (sp?) in years, i can “feel” the lag in alot of areas. It makes in close lp’s and sweeps even more of a pain in the ass as well as projectiles and other moves. (flying kick, superman, etc) You swear you pressed block before it connects but nope, your ass takes damage.
Although i will say i was suprised last night cause i was playing a pretty good Kung Lao and i was actually able to uppercut his teleports and dive kicks on reaction… Something i thought that wouldve been impossible due to the lag. Luck? Probably…
Shirts - Yeah, streaks seem to max out at 50. Sucks. Still fun though.
Do yall think its possible that once you hit 50, you will be locked in the top slots or is it possible that they could drop down in rank?
Nevermind, I just had to move my wireless router a foot closer to the room which has my PS3. Turns out my wireless connection is now always 100%. Go figure…

hey i play at my local lan center if u see cyberzone1 thats me play me i just sat down and got lil over 70 wins in less then a hr cuz people cant play oo and if u lose one and disconnect before match is over ur a noob and should quit

He was always mixing up his game so well that I couldn’t figure out what he was going to do next. He would occasionally do the sweeps, but he’d mix them well with slow mid punches. And, he picks other characters? The only times I played him, he only picked Johnny Cage and I always picked Kung Lao- the sisters and anyone else I picked couldn’t stand a chance. I came so close to beating him a number of times, but he always seems to keep cool and pull out a victory. He knows how to zone very well and I wouldn’t be surprised if his 70 win streak is for real.

dbo - He seems to know every aspect about the sisters, their range and what not. With Kang he was able to space me out properly with pretty much everything i did. Matches came down to walking back and forth, waiting for someone to twitch.

Well, I did not win 10-0 against XiongBros, took a bit getting used to the lag timing, but he lost the last 12 against me and I left, score was something like 28-5 me.

EDIT: Xiongbros sent a message after the beatdown saying it was his little brother playing. LOL. Anyone that is watching their little brother get beat would have taken the controller and played if that was true. Liu Kang, Mileena, Cage, Sub-Zero, Kung Lao, that’s who he used.
