I almost got a 360 for UMK3 and SF2 but, I wasn’t comfortable with the controller. Got a PS3 instead. I’ll look into those sites thanx. (P.S. u can play me in MK2 online anytime)

But I havent ben playing MK2 much these days. Too many people using their PS3 Wi-Fi or something. MK2 is already slower than UMK3, but lag tha makes you feel like its underwater, no thank you. But I will keep you in mind next time I do get that MK2 lovin feeling
Yea, my tournament in July wll be a blast. Not only am I gonna have MK2 Rv 3.1 on a cab, I am gonna have Rv 4.2, Rv 9.0 AND The Immortal Challenger hack…ALL ON THE SAME CABINET. Its my Ultimate MK2 cab

i am actually really good at umk3,BUT i will admit when i was good at umk3 i never knew about rush down jab pressure until i learned about it on umk.com and from all you guys, and i get owned so bad when jab pressure starts on me after a sick rush down,ill have to work on that a bit, there is no way in hell i could hang with all you guys on umk3 right at this moment as i would get horribly owned,but the rest of the game i know very well, i even started doing infinites after i learned about it from all you guys on umk.com,but i really play 2, i love both equally over the years and right now im on mk2,plus all the mk2 peeps i couldnt part with playing with,my posts are hard to read??? ill cut them down a bit i tend to go on and on,lol. i cant stop playing mk2,lol. my next post will be short. damn you have actual cabs,damn and also with the 4.1 and 9.0 challenger hacks!! thats crazy!! sounds like a lot of fun too

why is there no button config in the mk ports on ps2 and apparently ps3? did they just forget and figure it wasnt a big deal, or did it interfere with the programming to try and add it?
i think thats just about the stupidest shit ive ever seen, i cant even play this ps2. got to go to the arcade

There is button config on the MKII on PS2, but not on PS Network. Same with UMK3 on 360. Really stupid if you ask me.

tim, do you work at an arcade??? i think the only remaining umk3 machine i can think of is in downtown hartford,im in CT. but at this little “habib” hamburger place has it but the controllers are all messed up. dont you have to have buttons set every once in a while, and isnt that a pain???
Kinda. There is an arcade iin the bowling alley I work at. (same one where my tourney ill be at) but they dont have anything good. 
But I did work at Putt Putt Golf n Games for almost 8 years during the 90’s, and was there during the release of MK2, MK3, UMK3 & MK4.
oh man,that was the time period right there,from like 93 t0 97,then it all dided right after KI2 came out and the arcade scene was dead. i remember in 97 i got a nightwolf verse screen tattoo on my arm,still there,lol and not too faded.hahaha,i guess thats mk obsession for ya,lol. i should post a pic,lol.but yeah man those were tha days,im 31 and still obsessed with this,lol,speaking of KI,how come there is no scene for that even at all???

I first discovered MK at a Chucky E. Cheese. I saw Sub-Zero spine rip, and I was hooked. Got a job (under the table at the time, later became manager) at Putt-Putt, and was there when they brought in the new MK machines, and helped out installing the ROM kits for the new Revisions. I have 1 cab with a jamma for MK3 & UMK3, and I am looking to buy another (hopefull dedicated) for my Ultimate MK2 cab. Dont have a tattoo of MK, yet…but thats my obsession That and I play 2-D MK’s everytime I can. I’ll be 30 a couple days after my tournamnet, so I know what you mean, lol.
But yeah, show us a pic of that tat.
As far as KI, I dont know.1 & 2 were HELLA fun to play, and I miss them. KI 1 or 2 on XBL would be the fucking shit. Or a new KI.
I am also hardcore into my SF’s, Vs. games too.
yeah man,sounds like a sweet hookup. thats the kind of stuff me and my buddies always wanted and still dont have. and ive never been in a cab or anything so that would be interesting to see the rom installs and what not. and street fighter is also whats up,man,sf4 really lokks promising,and its nice to know that if you are a capcop 2-d fighter fan,they will always comethrough with whats the fans want,unlike midway and the rest of the failure bunch. im with you all the way,2-d!!! and i also got into mugen kombats like project and waiting for blood storm to come out,those games are nuts!!! considering the technology,wouldnt it be easy to just make a new 2-d kombat,that should take like a month.cant they just make us a quick 2-d kombat?? but yeah tim,those were the days.i even miss primal rage,hahaha.let me find the tattoo pic and ill post it,html can be posted right?

My best hope for MKvDC is that is plays like MK4, and that isnt really a great thing. I love MK4, but its the MK game that didnt feel like a MK game.
But yeah, dude, you could build your own cab, or do what I did, buy it in parts.
Get a cab (preferrably a Midway cab), then get the control panel done, then get your jamma boards, marquess, artwork, etc.
Or you could throw down $1500 and get one delivered off of eBay

to me mk4 is a lost kombat,i havent played that game since around 97, and i dont recall playing it on a console either. i was horrible at mk4, that was a kombat that i really wasnt too great at.yeah street fighter 4 has boon and co chumped,thats good because i hope its timed with the mk dc release because they will compare sales,guaranteed. and you know how unbelievable the demand and fanbase for street fighter is,the fanbase is double us with mk,at least it damn near seems. hey are those full cabs still mad expensive?? and im sticking to my guns that deadly alliance is the best 3-d, i got nasty at that game,frost was such a great player,she had some real gritty walk up combos and the side stepping to dodge in that game ruled! that was the only descent 3-d mk aside from shaolin monks witch i thought was a great game, the 2 player on that game was cool,there were some great combos in that game
ggms last night to: theif,mk2prince,kick@ss on kaillera, that was fun as always guys. before i played with you guys i was sitting there for an hour trying combos, i love when you sit and work on a combo for so long that all the sudden you cannot even do it anymore,hahahah,did the mileena "reverse roll"witch is good cause i can bring it out for everyone to see, 4 times last night, that darned kitana combo is soooooooo hard, i tried it like 30 times last night and could not do it once,jesus! that is the damn hardest thing i have ever had to learn in this game! if you dont miss the 4 th hit youll miss the 5th or 6th or last,frustration! i got my kombat boots on tonight,anyone wanna get some games hit me up on kaillera or psn.
