Yeah, I remember how Zero 2 Alpha dumbed down the pronunciation of “Sakura” (SA-kura) in the american version (suh-KOO-ruh). They actually had the same announcer recorded saying it the right way for the japanese version, and the wrong way for the american version. Protip, kids: japanese words consisting of 3 syllables always are pronounced with the emphasis on the FIRST syllable, not the second. It is not an english word.
