I had a great time at this. Very happy with the tournament setting. Hoping TvC gets more of a scene. Sorry I didn’t accept your money match Saetan but I just wasn’t going to put up with that campy style of yours any longer. I want to thank you for showing it to me though, I’m going to be picking up a team to counter it. Looking forward to the next one!
Forgot to mention this. I also am looking forward to seeing my match in the Grand Finals and the photo. Looking forward to see what I did wrong and what I could improve on.
Yeah I went with two of my other friends we are the three only decent players in r school but it would be awesome to meet some other local players we need to go up against better competition more often!
the best part for me was that about every match of mine was won with Kara Demons. Jump in attacks or Special Close range attacks or doing a move that has a lot of frames to start up.
My best one was this one:
I fought a Chun Li and he was good an had me cornered on the last round i won with a demon flip grab.
But the set in that was that he was doing a combo on me then he did his i think EX Flip Kick overhead move, I did the Cr.Mk Kara Demon it went right through me, and another time was that a Balrog fought me idk it was casual or tourney but he did a dash straight without doing ex and I did the same Demon and the arm went through me.
HDR doesn’t deserve an honorable mention…lol
14 people is a great turn out. If I would have brough the whole Jax crew that would have been 2 more to make a 15+ man tourney. Since we do not have any kind of monthly of BI-monthly tourneys, I think that is a great tourney.
No worries about the Money Match, I kinda though you knew I was just sandbaggin in Grand Finals to get you to MM me after. I will do the same MM any time you want to tho and If you do not want me to play Ippatsuman/Tekkaman I will not. 3 to 1 odds on low money, 20 and below, and 2 to one odds on any thing under 35 dollars.
Just to know are you saying I can not play keep away teams or just that team? I could use Ken,Doronjo,Ryu,Rock,Saki + Tekkaman and still get that same runaway effect with almost as many options.
I have GF loaded in low quality on my page but I am waiting to see if tyger will send me the winners finals matches in a better quality and if he does I will take those down. I can send them to you in wmp.files over aim.

Holy shit I got 7th. I got some lucky brackets in losers, and when I finally lost I lost bad.
I’m thinking of reviving my Blanka for SSF4, if I can get over my hate of SF4 in general. I still register for SF4 tournies cause it’s fun, but I hadn’t played for months till the night before this tourney =P

Edit: In retrospect I guess it makes sense. I used to dominate the entire Daytona area with no real effort. (Then I went to Orlando and got pretty much obliterated =D)

The more you try to take advantage of your character in this game, the more you are punished. As a game developer, this is HORRIBLE DESIGN!! I don’t play games to WORK, I play games to PLAY!!

Edit pt2: I’ve never understood that. Why do so many shit players back this series? That isn’t true, I DO understand. the SF series has always pretended to be all about the casual guy. Mr not gunna spend all day playing the game. Unfortunately, that’s all a clever ruse. SF4 is all about needlessly difficult inputs that are strictly to separate those who endlessly practice their combo timing from those who want to focus on the strategy of SF4. I have a friend who is great at the strat aspect of SF4, but just doesn’t do enough damage to really frighten me. THIS IS BAD DESIGN!! STRICT TIMING IS FOR SETUPS!! IF A CHARACTER CAN DO SOMETHING IT SHOULDNT BE A HUGE FUCKING HASTLE TO DO!! The sooner people stop sucking Capcom’s dick over this fundamentally flawed series the sooner we can get something that resembles an actual GAME that is designed to be FUN not WORK!!
