I really hope TvC starts to pick up around here. This game deserves a good scene. Saetan, I’ll 100% be able to make it to this one (already signed up and everything), unlike the last one in Orlando. I’m looking forward to it.
The scene will come. The game just has to wait for a turn to shine. While the Vs crowd is still playing Marvel for some reason, the numbers will be low. Once that damn game dies more people will move over to this game. Or people will just want to play something new. Just wait and hopefully something will pop.
With that said, I talked to Tyger last night and I think I will be adding hype for his TvC:UAS tourney. Something like… an extra $100 to first if we can get over 14 people to enter. Or, just some kind of side bet on ever match I play. $50 if you can take one round off me… Something like that.
The only real way to get the people that do play to show up or step up is to make it more like SF$ with the prizes/reasons to show up.
People just need to show up so they can actually get better. It seems like Datyona and the little areas around them have a little scene for the game, so if they show and the 4 out of the 7 other people that play this game in the state show, we might have an ok turn out.
Already signed up for SF4/TvC (Huggy Bear)… I can also run whatever Sat. tournament needs a T.O., and I’ll most likely bring all my shit just in case it needs to be used
