This is really cool. I may hit you up once I get some time off of school.
(Psst. If you opt to use screw in buttons instead of snap-ins, you don’t need to use screws to secure your Lexan to the top.)
Cant wait to get them to you and get your project going again!
Thanks i will be here as long as the community allows me to be also that is true you wont need to use screws if you opted for screw ins and because this is lexan you wont have to worry about crackin it when using screw ins. However i still recommend using screws just because the lexan is not completely flush within the bezel so the ends will come up depend on how you brush your hands against the panel. I do like to use screw ins for smaller customs when the lexan is sitting flush with the stick tho.

I just emailed you for a Korean TE panel with full lexan, can’t wait!
Right back at ya!!!
*50 points for me for being able to use the kirby phrase from the anime
Here is a quick shot of an mk panel with 1/16" black lexan mounted with Fanta.
More pics to come tomorrow when i am able to take more.
A little word on the 1/32" lexan, it is tough and will not crack despite its thin size and fits almost perfectly inside bezel even with 80lb cardstock. no scratching on the wrist at all. More to say with pics tomorrow including comparison shot.
As per request Custom panel ordering will stay open through friday, after that you will be added to round 3 if you miss out this time.
Photoshop template is also updated with vewlix layout. Joystick spot has been moved "only: for the vewlix so as to be in the same spot as the madcatz panel(may be off 1mm so may not fit with arts plexi)
Here is a quick pic of straight 6 panel with 1/32" cover with 80lb card stock mounting a happ.
Right now i am loving the 1/32" cover i am getting no problem with the wrist whatsoever it sits almost perfectly inside the bezel. The nice thing i like about the 1/32" cover is it makes the artwork feel like it is laminated because the cover is so thin and sits really flat. i will have a comparison shot and more later today.
Those look pretty nice might get me one soon
Here is a pic of 1/16" clear lexan with 80lb cardstock mounting sanwa
Here are the comparison shots of how much the 1/16" lexan sits over the bezel compared to the 1/32" lexan.
1/16" Lexan
1/32" Lexan
Please note that the 1/16" thickness is what Art uses for his plexi and it does not bother most people including myself however for those who find that they just want the cover fitting as close to the bezel as possible and virtually no play on their wrist the 1/32" cover is for you.
Also note that i sell both, you have the choice to choose either.
It is not that big of an annoyance
Ok guys so final testing with 1/32" lexan provided me with some really useful information to relay to you. The 1/32" covers work perfectly with screw in buttons, they work well with snap ins as well but the only thing about snap in buttons is that the snap ins put pressure on the lexan and cause the lexan to bend up just a bit in the space between the joystick and buttons. It is not a big deal and is not that noticeable but i thought i should let you all know. If you sand the tabs on the snap ins a bit, it takes some pressure off and makes it sit even better.
You never have to worry about the lexan cracking from snap in buttons or screw in buttons. I snapped in and unsnapped about 50 different times and never got a single crack, I also screwed in the buttons as hard as i could and still no crackage. So very very nice with nothing to worry about but still be careful with your covers.
I highly recommend 1/32" covers for those who use snap in buttons and want a cover sitting almost perfectly in the bezel.
I recommend 1/16" covers for those who want extended or full panel lexan.
Update guys,
End of round 2 custom panels, they are getting cut and will have them next week.
Sorry for the delays for people that want lexan covers with their panels, I have been getting so many orders and this has been moving alot faster than i expected and I am getting them out as fast as i can. I just do not have an endless supply of lexan and waiting for it to reach me is killing shipping times so i am currently looking locally to find places where i can just go and pick up sheets. This way i can get panels out very quickly.
I am going to be sending emails to people that wanted lexan and asking which you would prefer(1/32" or 1/16") befor i ship your panels. The only panel that has not shipped that was “panel only” was chads(sent you an email) all other no lexan panels have been shipped except round 2 customs that will ship next week.
Ok guys I am extremely tired and still have a couple of systems to fix so i hope that the information came across as clear hahaha.
As always any questions, I am more than happy to help so please ask.
Thanks for all the support!
Hey if i already have my panels,(freaking amazing btw), is it possible for me to order some 1/32" covers for them.
Thanks man those ultra slim covers look awesome
Yes you can sik, that is no problem at all, and i am glad you like the panels. I think alot of people would appreciate if you could take some pics of them. THanks alot

Those sticks are looking nice
might have to order me a custom panel soon. from what im reading above so lexan is a stronger material then plexi? and wont crack as easy.
Thanks alot and yes that is correct it is stronger and i was and still am surprised by the 1/32" lexan. As thin as it is i was expecting it to crack but still no cracking and i am being very rough on it. I do suggest using screw ins for the 1/32" Lexan as opposed to snap ins just because it sits perfectly flat with screw ins whereas when using snap ins the pressure makes it want to bend upward just a tad, (not a problem with cracking at all though) it is not a big deal but for perfectionists that want every thing perfect, it may be a problem. This is only when using snap ins for 1/32" lexan. when using snap ins for 1/16" lexan there are no problems the same with screw ins. To be honest i am probably making it sound worse than it actually is but i just want to give you guys as much info as i possibly can.
