Yeah the first one was off the hook, especially since they had Sakura in it too. The second one is still fun to me, but I’ve been thinking of repurchasing the first one as well.
You are so right…when I mention Rival Schools/Project Justice to regular folks, they have no idea what I’m talking about…but as soon as I mention MvC2 they tell me their favorite characters on there. Its probably because of Marvel characters in the game…prety much everyone knows about them, especially Wolverine, Storm, and Cyclops (hell they had a movie dammit! lol) so of course folks would recognize it more. But that doesnt mean that PJ or RS should be put in the dust…if anything, the person whos working on SF4 will probably bring the franchise back since he did mention bringing back the other franchises such as the vs. series and Darkstalkers.:wgrin:
It’s one of the lesser knowns, I’ll give 'em that, but many of the designs do stick to people’s minds from my experiences IRL. The Taiyo and Gorin people especially. The character designer and artist (Edayan) is the same guy who made the Phoenix Wright designs right? Hopefully if SF4 does sell well, the other fighting game franchises will get a revival as well.

Yeah, seems like a lot of people liked the first one better. I think I agree. Too bad, because the new one had so much ‘New’ stuff going for it.
Yeah I hope so too. I don’t even really care for the new Street Fighter coming out being the fact that its just now coming out…it should have been out and its kinda urks me that they bringing it out all of a sudden I don’t know…but I am hoping that it sells well and once that happens I’m also hoping for the older franchises to return. When you beat PJ with the different teams your still left with questions unanswered anyway… I mean what happened to Kyosuke after he fought Demon Hyo? What happened to Kurow after the incident? I thought they were gonna make another one the way PJ ended.:sad:

Can anyone post a Tier List for Project Justice and if possible the first RS as well?
I would like to see where characters rank in here…my two main characters where either Roy/Hyo and or Daigo/Hyo, really liked Hyo’s character. I obviously know that Roy’s really strong, however yeah, would like to see the tiers for this game.
My DC and my Project Justice game I lent out to a cousin of mine along time ago, and I never saw it again because he can’t find the game anymore and his kid trashed my DC…:mad::sad:.
So although I don’t have access to PJ…which I wished I did…it would still be interesting to see where the characters where ranked. Sigh…I wished I could play PJ again…:shake:
The roy infinite only works with gan I think
Roy still has stupid combos.
Also Roy, Roberto, Momo, and few others rule this game.
Still fun as hell though.
Yeah, I’ve heard it only works on Gan as well.
Roy and Roberto are near the top in the game I think. Both have high damaging air combos and fast launchers. I can’t be certain though.

Hideo(is that the old teachers name?) has an semi-infinite (maybe really an infinite) with getting his dive kick to hit a certain way and repeating it. It was in an old combo video. But that shit is mad tough.

I was very active when there was a huge scene for this game. Now, not really.
I never really thought it was a huge scene for either of the games; I just thought it was one of those games that most folks didnt know about but still fun as hell. My friends and I still played the hell out of both versions though! Now I’m too damn lazy to play fighting games; I think I’m starting to get arthritis:rofl:
