I’m still numb to reading this on the web…I grew up on Prince…i was listening to Under The Cherry Moon and Purple Rain before i could even understand the lyrics…he’s seriously one of the best singers of all time imo and a severely underrated guitarist…R.I.P

Then he became one of the musicians I had the UTMOST respect for. It’s a shame that that younger generation probably doesn’t know of such a phenomenal artist. He was a true artist in every sense of the word and the world just lost a musical giant. *

This one affects me. Fantastic musician. My parents and later myself loved him and his music. Easily one of the best live concerts I have ever experienced. A very interesting character who did whatever the fuck made him happy. ETERNAL GOAT

He was a musical genius, plain and simple. And like most geniuses he has his “quirks” and was supposedly difficult to work with. And there was that nasty period where he changed his name to the “love symbol” due to issues with Warner. But, still a goddam musical genius.
Heard people talking about this at the party store. Shits a shame.
Got to see Prince in concert once. A friend of mine got tickets through his job and asked if I wanted to roll. Never really appreciated his music until I went to his concert. He was a master musician and performer. Few artists can be put on the same tier as this man.
