Well, I actually use Gamma Wave as a tool to get in… but in a different kind of way. I can TOD from lots of situations, including them coming at me (anti-air lariat), so I don’t need an assist to cover me or get in, these chars can protect themselves very well. I use GW as a deterrent against bothersome assists (Doom, for example), to prevent them from keeping me at distance from the point char.
Blueriver-Some nice Sentinel combos in there.
You should never pick Sentinel against Haggar… never.

I went to Shadowloo Showdown last weekend (I came from New Zealand). I main Viscant’s old team (Wesker/Haggar/Phoenix) and played it in all my important matches. I got some money matches in with the other international players who went over and outside of all the fails, I don’t think I did too bad. They were all first to 4 and I took at least 2 games every match. Clearly Haggar isn’t the main focus on the team, but people did enjoy watching my Haggar and some of the pros did praise mine (though I’d made so many different setups and OSes which I didn’t even pull out in these matches either cause of nerves or I just wasn’t thinking at the time). I always make sure I can play all the characters on my team or else I wouldn’t play the team seriously. So I’ve trained in all situations of all the four characters (Wesker, Haggar and both forms of Phoenix with and without XF) which I think is really important. Anyway here they are:

I made some more improvements on my Haggar combos from my last video. Now, Haggar can ToD most of the cast now from a clean pipe hit.

Hey guys, here is a FT10 I played against my friend at my buddy’s house. It was recorded for purposes of me getting feedback on my gameplay. My friend is much better than me as you clearly see, I only take two games off him in the set.

I apologize for it being one chunk of 46 minute video…the actual FT10 is only about 30 minutes, and my friend didn’t split the footage. I don’t expect anyone to watch ALL of it unless you really want to, but what I’m mainly looking for hear is feedback about how to play this character. Right now my Haggar is extremely linear. My execution was also pretty bad in this set with me dropping combos with both Iron Man and Haggar…something I’m working on. I know there are people here that run similar teams as me so hopefully I can get a better gameplan aside from jumping pipe.
Anyway, any feedback would be appreciated.
friendly casuals from yesterday morning on the final day of project storm with emphasis on the mayor of leopard pants. skip to 5min
been messing with whiffed up TACs after the qcfS air throw to switch sides on the way down to maintain corner pressure. works on the majority of the cast but a couple of characters have really weird laying down hit boxes that keep you on the same side. and if that’s the case you can use a side TAC to scoot forwards as you fall which has it’s uses, at least with my team

im playing on stream on casuals for haggar bullshit. come through
Hey guys. Here is a recording of my Haggar from a recent tournament. My match is at the very beginning of the video. I’m looking for feedback on how to improve my neutral game because my Haggar is pretty linear right now. I play Haggar (Lariat)/ Deadpool (Quick Work)/Iron Man (Unibeam).

Any critique is appreciated. I may make a separate thread for critique if this thread is more for showing off talent.

@Phiall
@0:26 you missed a chance to kill Zero. you must capitalize
@0:50 you didnt crH otg xx THC. But you at least you made the attempt to capitalize. nice recovery.
@1:28 I love the Mayor, and the opponent dropped his punish, but you should have sacrificed the Mayor there. It worked out in your favor. This wont be the case with better players.
@round 2 start. No fucks air throw. hell yeah.
@2:38: Mixing pipe and the fast Headbutt. Good that you have the sense to mix it up.
Good defense there but eventually yah got opened up.
@3:25 NICE THC taking advantage of invincibility.
@3:45 Spencer’s death was bullshit.
@4:02 smart xfactor
@4:41 Why not mix your arrow strengths? Tasky has 1~3 arrows. Air Aim M x3 land throw a single straight. Mix it up.
Round 3
Start: Did you option select Air Pipe and throw? All Haggars should Option select Air Pipe/Headbutt with Throw. It cost you.
@5:34 these are some nice Zero combos. too bad he’s wasting meter. good for you!
<_< well. You didnt really get to play this round.
Round 4
6:45 good on ya protecting Task. Get the hell out of the corner.
7:10 lucky baster had the three meter…
7:35 that was a lucky overhead. the hell was that man??
7:53 you punished his dumb lightning.
8:20 Show’em who’s da master.
8:39 again smart defensive Xfactor. His Frank is wack. and you clearly took advantage.
Over all he had two guys on his team that prefer the second slot. He only got going on the third round and you had the correct sense with not letting Frank get anywhere by zoning him out.

@FuLLBLeeD
Haggar Deadpool Iron Mang
for starters I dont like Nova vs Haggar. Nova can keep him out all day with pulse and javy. Iron man alleviates this, which is why he snapped him.
You gave no fucks and burned the meter to kill Nova.
for neutral what I like to do is mix Air Pipe and headbutts. with super jumps into whiffed air command grab to see if the opponent tries to dash under.
@ 1:55 bad bad super from pool. Dorm gave you problems…
round 2.
@:2:50 lucky bastard how’d he get the grab.
@3:10 nice air throw.
@3:40 nice combo.
-@4:28 nice deadpool super through beam.
@Dorm incoming. very very very nice Haggar Pressure. dude was scared shitless.
3
damn good pipe. but you didnt get anything. You still got Nova bleeding hard though.
@5:50 a lariat woulda done good there.
@6:00 fuck yeah hoodlum M. Dorm was already scared of Haggar on inside. you read it and threw his ass in the air.
@6:34 lol raw S.
@6:55 how’d nova hit pool there?!?!
nice defense on incoming there.
@7:50 lol random hyper.
O_O that repulsor into level 3
round end: … you shoulda just ran away. Doom has no chip option against a flyer.
4
you just goin’ in.
lol FOOT DAI. lariat that shit.
Why no teleports with Pool?
Bad Xfactor. you coulda guard canceled the super and killed him. It cost you the match.
Thanks a lot for the advice man. That Repulsor into Iron Avenger was a kill combo. Iron Man gets a full followup afterwards, I just dropped the L Smart Bombs OTG pickup, which you can clearly see.
Thanks a lot for the feedback.
