Here’s a combo I just tried in training:
:f:K+G, :df:PP, :db:P+K, :f:K+G
84 damage. Only good against lightweights. Against Taka, you’re probably better off doing something else.
EDIT: Alternate combo: :f:K+G, :df:PP, P, :d:P, :d:K+G

parry is good against most 66K’s too was doing that today against that vanessa player.
Try P+K into slipping K. on block, anything the opponent does will get beat. I am not sure about half/full cicular’s. but 2P, 6P, P and throw are all beaten on block or hit.
anything into ducking K+G beats lows and 2P’s.
The other thing is that Brad’s throw game is pretty shitty. Outside of his wall throw you aren’t really getting anything good. Otherwise the system changes really benefit him, his stances are worth a shit now, he’s got lots of good pokes + full circulars and imho he’s got one of the best overall 6Ps in the game for what that’s worth.
Brad’s :f:P+G is actually pretty good because you can combo off of it. Otherwise, I agree.
Duck throw seems good? Or is there something about his throws compared to others I don’t understand?

Alright, so my combos and mix up game is lacking.
I don’t know how to mix up people (I saw some mix up posts around here, haven’t read all of page 2), and I keep landing random launchers that go into… nothing…
(like down stance into Kick, or 3P+K > P into nothing).
Also, in this video at 1:15, what is the combo the Brad in white does?
Look B it looks like he went into a SABAKI (counter) into a simple combo but I know your linking VF5 Vanilla to throw new players off right? Keep your trolling ways in GD bruv. I thought you were playing Lion?
I DIDN’T KNOW IT WAS VILL!!
Omg, I’m new to this and someone just pointed out to me it was vill.
SORRY!! ;_;
I think a better question is, what can I get off these moves?

Okay yeah, you can punish the fuck out of them, but some of those launches throws the opponent so far away, I can’t seem to get anything.
Help please?! Also I’m learning Brad because he’s a boxer, and I’m a boxer, so it’s like we can have sex together and become one giant boxer!
Wtf?

Don’t mind PozerWolf, he’s one of those people who become a… different person with a keyboard and the internet in front of them.
Coth_X, a lot of other characters do more damage (Sometimes a LOT more) off of one or both normal directional throws, and while his catch is nice it can’t always fulfill the same role.
@PozerWolf: A basic but serviceable combo that works off almost all his crumples and launchers is 3PP 9K. The only times it doesn’t work besides Taka is on heavies after 6P+K depending on open/close stance and after 6P+K+G K+G.
Throws are Brad’s weakest tools, but there are still useful and play a part of his game, and it doesn’t mean they are bad, just not as strong as other characters throws. His best throw are all broken by 6. 66P+G, 46P+G ducking P+G 6P+G, by a wall 46P+G… compared to characters like Taka whose 4 and 6 ending throws all do insane damage. Wolf’s two biggest throws, burning hammer, and giant swing are also both 6 breaks, but he has enough decent stuff from the other directions that people are so worried about breaking 6 that the rest of his throws are all but guaranteed.
Brad has many strong tool outside of his throw, like a 12 frame CH launcher in 4P+K, a 14 frame normal hit launcher in 6P+K, good full and half circular’s, nice pokes, good ranged attacks, strong mix ups from stances…
Brad is a beast when used to his fullest potential.
Well aren’t guys like taka/wolf grapplers? That makes sense, 6p+g break p+g throws?

there are only 3 throw breaks, back, forward and neutral.
6P+G only breaks throws that end with a 6 input. so 41236 P+G is broken with a 6P+G. to break a P+G throw, just hit P+G as well.
for Brad’s ducking P+G throw, the first clinch is unbreakable, but after the hold, Brad has three different throws he can do and the opponent can attempt to break one of the 3 different directions.
On wakeup, I’ve noticed if they go for a low attack when they wake up and you do Brad’s 44K it’ll hit them, and if they do a mid kick you can parry it. That’s pretty much all I know what to do when they’re waking up.
Thanks for the input.
I only ask so many questions because I wanna learn and I don’t know how to play this game!!!
I actually don’t understand the mix up in this game.
Like, when people go into stance cancel into blah blah blah, watching videos, motha fuckers are getting hit.
When I do the same shit, people block it and punish me! UGH!!! THIS GAME IS SOOOOOOOO COMPLICATED!! ;_;
Not to mention, I’m trying to study up on this game by doing all the command normals I can in that free command mode training thing, and I found out it does not display all the commands on the move list.
Not only that, but because of this, the moves NOT displayed are the moves used the most often when watching videos, WTF GAME!?!?
Just in case you are not trolling…
If people are blocking, or punishing, or hitting you out of your stance mix ups, it just means you did the wrong mix-up, and they either guessed right or you didn’t condition them enough.
I use ducking P as my first go to option in ducking to see how they react, as it is the safest option for me if they react correctly, they’ll either block it, or 2P me. If they just block, I’ll mix in ducking throw along with ducking P. if they start 2P’ing right away, then next time they’ll eat a ducking K+G
For some reason your previous post says duck throw is in the list of throws broken by 6?
I usually go straight into ducking k+g until they start blocking it.

I DON’T TROLL WHEN IT COMES TO FIGHTING GAMES!! I WANT TO LEARRRNNNN!!! DKASFJDASFJDS;FJ!!
Believe meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!
But uh, thanks for the feedback.
Was wondering what sort of tools I should use when trying to condition my opponents? Like… uhhhh…
When I do 6K P xx into stance to the side, I do the K to punish mashing, but they mash me out of it anyways!!!
Mix up tips?!?
I meant the 6P+G throw after the duck throw
