Interesting. Was Nolan/Theo the only first round match recorded? I ask because I was running the tournament, and wasn’t able to watch the matches. I am particularly interested in seeing Kenny/Pablo, Evan/Jamie, and all matches featuring Alex. I know that people probably couldn’t learn as much watching these matches, and they’d take up bandwidth on your site. Still, I wanna see whether Pablo was as vocal as he was during our ST match. Perhaps he wasn’t THAT sauced yet, so early in the evening.

Anyone who hasn’t watched the ST footage from 7/6 should watch the first 3 minutes or so from the first file. It’s pure comedy.

Edit: just watched the Evan/Cody LF match. That was a really exciting vid, and that first game featured some strange stuff. I rewound and reviewed the Ball DHC in game 1, and still couldn’t figure out what happened to Commando. You can even hear Pablo in the background complaining about the brackets for the following ST tournament.

Alex is Umbrellastyle. He was the ST player who borrowed Pablo’s heart and entered the Marvel tournament. His courage inspired me to enter the ST tournament. Alex played you (Preppy) in the first round, and then lost to Theo in the first round of loser’s.

I hope Pablo shows up drunk again. That was entertaining. Last tournament of this season later today. Show up, people. Bring sticks if you’re uptight, bring booze if you’re not.

So the arcade perfect 360s feel a little squishy to me. I suspect this is because the replacement actuators isn’t holding up (since after all it’s not hard plastic). If other people notice this, I’ll find the other actuators and put those back in.

The only time I really notice it is on quick F,F dashes. Otherwise, it all seems fine.

Hope you’re feeling better, Preppy. Did you make it to Portland? How long did it take you? Do they time you? Did you time yourself? And if you answered any of the last few questions, what’s considered a good/bad time? What were the shortest and longest times from last weekend?

I would love Brian’s Geif, but he crushed me in a tournament once. So the respect and love gets expressed as fear and loathing. I got crushed by Geif, in an actual tournament. Not even David can claim that feat.
