I want to add other characters, GGXXAC+R Chipp & GGXXAC+R Testament.
I have not played the game yet, but the changes that both characters got are amazing, Chipp is my main since 1998, and oh boy, the thought of having finally a top tier Chipp is just boner inducer :lovin:, the best part is that on the balance changes that they did they left him untouched
As for Testament, i have to admit that i was worried about him, some of the changes sounded a little extreme, but after watching him on action my worries disappeared, yeah he is no longer top tier, but he seems to be the most fun version so far with the crap that he can pull with his zoning tools.
I have to say that maybe with the exception of Potemkin, there is something odd on seeing the best grappler of all time being âweakerâ version of himself and Justice, He/She seems like a nice concept, but being a dedicated zoner that is outclassed by the other lesser zoners, not to mention that it lacks the tools to retaliate when is down on health is kinda wrong, plus i miss his/her old mobility, all the cast on GGXXAC+R seems like their best version so far.
Also add BBCP Tager for good measure, he simply looks incredible, he seems to be a threat now, and even when it still has some bad matchups, he no longer seems to be helpless on them.
You whoreâŚ
Playing the 3S version of Akuma is just silly. SF4 Akuma is a little bitch in comparison. Sf3 Akuma is pressure tactics and bacon. SF4 Akuma plays for vortex shenanigans. Akuma in 3S is arguably a better character compared to other characters in the game than his SF4 iteration compared to other SF4 characters.
Also, Soul Calibur 2 Talim was the tits.
Street Fighter:
Zangiefâs EX+ Alpha iteration was the best, no contest. As for Ken, I like his CvS2 iteration. I used Ken for a while in SF4, but switched to Cammy because I liked her playstyle more. Speaking of Cammy, I like her SF4 iteration. Dudleyâs 3s version is the best thanks to the rose.
Bisonâs capeless iteration (any game thatâs not Alpha or a Vs. game) is better. I like his CvS iteration in particular because he looks badass and they gave him the kick throw from EX. Doesnât work the same way, though.
I like Doctrine Darkâs EX+ Alpha iteration mainly because he had the Killing Blade special/super which was removed in later games. I donât think moves should ever be taken away from a character.
Rival Schools
RS Bowman > PJ Bowman
RS Hideo > PJ Hideo. RS Hideo had the strongest team-up in the game.
Tekken
I might as well just say Tekken 3 iterations > all.
**Virtua Fighter **
Iâd say that overall, FS Brad > pre-FS Brad, but there are some things I wish they kept in, like being able to clinch off of certain moves. Otherwise, it was good that they streamlined his moveset so that the moves you could execute during Slipping didnât depend on direction.
