missed the first 5 min, so i have no idea what its about
first five min doesnt explain it.
Seth Rogen and co said the show will not exactly follow the comic there will be some changes here and there to keep the comic fans on their toes which Garth Ennis even encouraged. If future episodes are as good as the pilot then switching the story up somewhat could be a good thing I really liked it definitely had the Preacher vibe.
Never heard of it, saw the pervy guy from Misfits is in it so will give it a go.
AMC put the first episode on Youtube in case anyone hasn’t seen it yet.
I haven’t read the comic book…but so far I like where it is going.
[details=Spoiler]Tom Cruise explodes…hahahaha!!!
When Jesse told that guy to “Be brave, tell her the truth, open your heart”, I knew he would take it literally.[/details]
Saw the first 2 Eps. It’s very grimdark and filled with morbid humor, I like it.
I know nothing about the comic other than the name, butI’m tempted to look it up after more things are revealed. I’m still trying to figure out what the motive of the entity possessing him has or if it’s really about divinity. The vampire seems pretty unconventional as well.
It’s quite amazing how much the British are taking over the American acting arena. Like 3/4ths of the cast is from the UK. The lead was definitely a surprise, as was the dude from Misfits.
Btw, for those Texans out there how good are Preacher’s and Tulip’s accents?
Apparently the first season has little to do with the comic. Just setting things up. Never read the comic because I’ve always hated the art.
Really enjoying so far.
