It’s not about the $ amount, I am not about to to make myself look bad and lose any amount of money over some sticks. Any way that I want (MAME/AE) to play still allows people to have their Japanese sticks. My play is 100% different on pad. I cant dp or super for shit on Jap, the button arches make me confused (notice I hardly use LK, cause I cant find it) and attacks always activate when I hover. Hell in tourney I ate a SUPER to the face because “I” did a MP next to him. When these start costing me my match, I lose my composure, and start focusing on the sticks themselves and doing shit like random DPs to “test”, even if it’s not the right thing to do for the situation. I never get to play the old games how I’m comfortable. So whatever.
I’m not dedicated enough to learn Japanese stuff, and even my TE has been made as American as possible, so using it wont help. That is all.
Either way, it was a good time, different seeing faces that are usually reserved for Columbus here in Fairfield. GG’s to whoever I played in what, except to Quentin when I tried MK on a stick, shouldn’t have taken stock in those wins… had to show you what was up on stream. Ha.

So I’m just curious, I know I placed in top 16 at Powerup but the results only list top 8. I was curious if I got Evo seeding points or not. I know for the promotion o f the tuornie they said top 16, I understand things can change, just want to know for sure.
The promotion that was run on stream went under the assumption that we would reach 128 players in both SSFIV and MvC3.
SSFIV entrants: 72
MvC3: 108
According the the EVO Tournament Season details posted on the EVO TS article here on SRK, if and only if a tournament’s entrant level was greater than 128 would Top 16 be granted seeding points.
But congrats to you regardless. Top 16 with tough competition is a good job.
