i propose a propisition…If most of these extra games have less then 10 entrants…can you drop said games and replace it will Super teams? I wont be playing in it but ill support it
The majority already voted in favor of MVC3 teams, and you’re making a pretty large generalization when you say nobody cares about the so-called “extras.” Why don’t you just run the side tourney yourself?

@SSFIV 3v3 Requests: The official game schedule is finalized and will only receive cancellations if a tournament gets fewer than 8 entries and the players decide not to play in a round robin. At that point it may be an option for SSFIV 3v3 to take place with the unused setups. Who knows, maybe we’ll have enough setups to run SSFIV 3v3 anyway. This decision would have to be made during the event, however, and sign-ups for any SSFIV 3v3 would be in-person only. It would then take a backseat to singles on Saturday if necessary.
I admire the spirit behind the requests, and if there is no impromptu SSFIV 3v3 on Friday I readily invite those pushing for SSFIV 3v3 to run it on Sunday.
Honestly if the entry fee per player is $20 then the prize pool will be great. Any lower and there could be damages to it. If someone can’t fork up $20 then they probably shouldn’t be competing.
@MattO: Which entry fee are you referring to? Venue passes are $20 online, but there is no official tournament at PU2011 that has a $20 per player entry fee.
I think 3s teams will have enough entrants to justify running it, but TvC looks like it should be axed. Wouldn’t do anything until the week of Power Up, but if nobody registers for TvC then you may have some time freed up for SF4 teams.
Two of my friends and I (their handles are beverage55 and snadmonkey if they’ve already registered) are still on the fence about registering for TvC, but we wouldn’t lose any sleep over it if it was cut.
