Curiously, how does that Tv not lag? It looks like it’s 480i (standard ps2, not component) signal fed to an hdtv, with probably a native res of 108i and 480p, so there is upscaling. Does it just upscale really fast, or is this an intuitive sense of no lag?

very nice rsigley. my dream is to have a room like that. once i save up some g’s i’m gonna be doing that.
projector is JVC DLA-RS1U
all together it cost me about 12k to do the room, but i did it myself
projector was about $6500, sound set up around $3000, lights cost about $500
couch + carpeting + wiring + paint + other random crap cost about 2k
it didn’t take too long to do, maybe like 30 hours of work to do the wiring through the wall, painting, stripping the room down to nothing etc.
the lights took the longest because i messed up somewhere and they weren’t all lighting up so i had to take it apart and do it again
my only complaint is there’s not a lot of room between the couch and tv so i filed to construct another building on my property and going to make a home theater/game room mini house type thing
hopefully they’ll approve of it soon so i can get started and have the hous epart up before winter

Looking at all your setups I realized, holy shit I am in the wrong fucking business. My tv is a 20 inch CRT with vcr built in from 2001. It’s a pos. I need to upgrade but dont have the cash for it-_-
ha yea its more like a bean bag bed. its about 6 feet long when you lie it out
its surprisingly comfortable to sleep on
