Post pictures of your SF/entertainment setup!

Nice setups!

My current overall setup (usually without the 2player arcade stick setup)

A few of my games. This was SF setup and not collectibles so I didn’t include the games I have out in the garage.

My signed Halo 2 poster from Bungie sent to me by my boy Chris Carnie (Thanks again!)

Behold… Marine Corps Guile! Standing strong and true with the Marine Corps/American flag.

Note: Pictures taken by Mrs. Shin-RoTeNdO using her new cam.

^ I cant belive you use lag tv for street fighter. I swear LCD screens have like 2 second input delay

nice setup though !

Wow, where’d you get the signed poster? I’ve got friends who might have signed that. That’s tight.

What HD TV would be recommended… ? (non-idle question  )

Nah SNAAAAKE, don’t get it twisted dawg. No lag when you use VGA input  Also the lag when using standard AV setup isn’t 2 seconds, but barely noticeable depending on the brand/type/setup and other stupid ass factors. At Best Buy you can tell which LCD TV’s show lag, and don’t. You can also take your system and ask to see if they’ll let you hook it up to test the lag one each of the TV’s. VGA adaptors can be purchased through ebay or other online sites.

For those individuals with PS2’s and HDsetups, they sell an HDTV Player for the PS2. What it does is it enables progressive scan and outputs 448/512 lines to the CRT output. For those that do not know, The PS2 can output in 480p, 720p, 1080i modes via a component cable.

Chris Carney (one of the artist) and Shiek, sent me some goodies post XMAS holidays. Actually met them at last year’s EVO.

Samsung FTW. If you own a PS3, go with a HDTV that supports 1080i. They cost more, but definitely worth it if you are wanting to get the most out of your PS3. To each his own, but if you play mostly fighters, then what SNAAAAKE mentioned earlier about input delays will depend on the TV/setup and would strongly recommend purchasing a VGA adaptor for you consoles.

Just thought I would remind everyone who the real king of SF Setups really is!

hmm…doesnt it depend on which game you are playing. if I remember correctly, most street fighter games on ps2 is 480i and lags when ran through HDTV as it upscans the signal or some crap. really dont know much but my brother has a 32" lcd and we hooked up a ps2 and tried cvs2 there…it had xbox live style delay…:xeye:

anywho…as long as it works you are good I guess !

While it’s not SF related, there is this guy on VFDC that made the best fuckin custom vs style cab ever… I was O_O when I saw it…

Do you have a link to the thread? I am really intrested in seeing this.

Nice stuff. Though all the LCD’s make me cry, Trinitron is the only way to fly.

Look it’s a nice setup and all, but I really prefer a real cabinet. Plus scratchbuilts are a dime a dozen now days (I have 2 myself).

Again, nice setup, but check out some of the utterly amazing collections on the KillerCabs.com forums and you’ll find “the real king of SF Setups”. :wgrin:

CigarBob, check this thread out:

I have been looking through that site and there are a ton of candy cabs. Yea they are nice and all but i was really hoping to see some scratchbuilts on there. If you can point me in a direction or a few threads to view I would appreciate it.

Hey,CPS-2 game boards !
So what wikipedia said is true ?
They say that a CPS-2 game board only works whit a A-board from the same color.
My boards are all blue.

Elvis you should be making my sticks instead of bumming around on forums!

whip whip

Anyway, Rotendo are you running 3rd Strike in the correct aspect? Shouldn’t it be 4:3 instead of widescreen?

master bigode, blue boards will work with green MoBos and vice versa. JPN and US kits are compatible with each other but thats it. None of the others are as far as I know.

Hmm… you’re right about the aspect size, but I had the mode to 16:9 previously when I was watching Flushed Away with the kiddies. Anyway, doesn’t really matter that much, but normally I would have it set to the correct aspect ratio.
