All up it was quite a costly endevour on my part but was worth it in the end, only that is if you get plenty of decent comp from various people which I do. As for the price, the cabinet itself cost approx $1500US shipped to me. I bought it from interstae so it wasn’t shipped international. JP 3rd Strike kit was approx $300US. So total was about $1800/$1900US give or take.
As for where to buy cabs in the US I am not 100%, but I dont think there are any big online retailers of Japanese Candy Cabinets anymore however your best bet would be ebay or asking around these forums…in the techincal section perhaps as quite a few members in there have cabinets. Try ringing up any local or even interstate arcades and seeing if they want to sell as well…thats what I did then I got referred onto an arcade distributor.

If I had the money to but a VsCity cab like TSC’s I would have done that.
My cab is good. But it is only a substatute for TSC’s.
At least my cab has a few things his doesn’t. SNES supprot! yes that is right I can play all my fav snes games on it. SNES ssf2 is better then arcade 3s any day of the week!
Thanx guy this is how I got it: at Digital Press, all I did was make a thread bitching about how hard it was to get a real copy of the game and compared it to how much it was when the game first cme out. Then a Japanese (I think, I know at the time he just moved to America from Japan) guy by the name of “Nomeaz1” played Good Samaritan and sold me a copy for 120 bucks 10 dollars less than what I got my King of Fighters 2001 Neo Geo cartridge. Still a stupid price for a CD game, but it was definitely better than e-GaY.
Lately I’ve just been importing games. When it comes to old school games I’m proud to be Japanophile. I’ve gotten quite a bit fed up with the close minded chopping, rejecting high quality titles (which is one reason why US/Euro systems fail too quickly) and bad box art.

Waiting for Best Buy to get this 32 in. Phillips HDTV back in stock I got a raincheck for a coule of weeks ago. But anyway I don’t have much room, still dunno what I am gonna do with the one I ahve now. But don’t hate cuz my set up is great Not liek you need an HDTV for SF anyway… :rolleyes:
