I love Sean, also he’s the proof that weak attacks can be compensated with good looks.
Sean is currently my favorite character in third strike. He is a ton of fun to play and is a nice change of pace from the usual shotokans. I just wish he kept his shoryu-smash from second impact.
I witnessed one Sean player go on a 20 game winning tear at Fanimecon in NorCal last year. He was the best Sean player I’ve ever seen, and this just proves that parrying is the great equalizer. Parrying gives every character in 3S a chance to be good.
i use two shotos: Sean and Akuma. And its much more rewarding when you win with Sean - especially if its a taunt =D

Sean standing foward kick is one of the best low crushes in the game. And far standing fierce is really good against dashing opponets.
Sean vs Makoto is a good match up for Sean. Fwd + fierce at distance is safe from mokoto’s “SA 1” even if she does it as a reversal.
Only combo EX- tornado kick, all the other version are unsafe to throw.

But yea, all that stuff is true. He’s also a fair matchup against dudley and oro.

I just play Sean, Chun, Ken, and Akuma, with a lil Makoto and Dudley on the side. I remember just going on kaillera beating people with Pink Sean alongside Bodler and my other boy Dyne.
