My stick is already converted I just haven’t had time to learn how to use it yet. School is out this week so I plan to hit the training room hella hard.

If you grew up playing fighters on MAME like I did it’s actually not that bad and super precise. I use to play Guilty Gear on a keyboard and I’ve never gotten the hang of instant air dashing on a stick.
If I were to make a button stick I’d have the directions be like W A S D keys are on a keyboard though. Using the thumb for up seems weird and would take a lot of getting used to. Jeromie had a setup like W A D X keys on the keyboard, but the X key was hard to hit and made your thumb super sore after a while.
Hahah, hell yeah it did. My next layout will be A W D V style with v being crouch, and all directional buttons being on the left side for your left hand. Angel’s is crazy hard to get used to with the jump button on your right hand. It hurts your brain instead of your thumb.
