gotta agree with devil x. what makes certain mms so entertaining is that there is legitimate beef or a big rivalry to go along with the mm. not saying the match won’t be entertaining, but all the hype is relying on the skills of the players and the money behind it.

Hrrmm, gotta say I find that mentality kinda off. High level play is the requirement, beef is a bonus not a necessity. You don’t need a beef for a match to be interesting. Order of importance goes:

High Level Play
Money Involved
Sidebets Invoved/# of people involved
Special circumstances(Beef/OG vs. Impressive New Player/Coming out of retirement etc whatever)

I find the whole youtube video thing lame. I think if you have a player talking TOONNNNNS of shit then it’s good to see them put up or shut up, and if someone REALLY has a problem with the other guy it can make it more interesting, but having DPC’s trash talking and video posting as some kind of standard in order for a match to mean something is just retarded IMO. If everyone talked that much garbage, you’d get tired of it pretty quickly because it would stop meaning anything.
