Everyone that wants a Scyther, just hit me with a trade invite. I’ll know what’s up.

I’ll breed more Technician ones for you guys.

I’m not so sure about Super Training > EV Training… It takes a while. IMO, Pokerus + Power Item is still going to be the optimal method. I spent about an hour and a half in ST with my Scyther, and I’m not finished. I would’ve been done already if I was doing it the other way.

Ended up with:
12 Adamants w/Swarm, 3f/9m
4 Eggs… All 100% Adamant, 80% Swarm, 20% Technician (I was breeding Scyther/Scyther the whole time instead of Scyther/Ditto, which gives a 50% chance for each ability)
4 other Scyther with various natures

Did you find the Metal Coat or whatever it needs to evolve? If so, where?

Also where’d you find your Scyther? I’d like to breed em’ as well.

Holy CRAP at the amount of Pokemon variety thrown at you. I haven’t even gotten to the town with the 2nd gym and I caught 65 already. O.o

…and of course with my luck I run into a Kanghaskan in Glittering Cave IMMEDIATELY after I used up all of my Poke Balls catching a dang Onix.

I think this is the first Pokemon game I’ve ever played where I’ve run out of Poke Balls like that…

Scyther’s on Route 21 in the red flowers, and the Metal Coat is in the Pokeball Factory, IIRC.

That Ability Capsule is 200BP, and I think it’s single-use… Besides, I got my Adamant/Technician/Male. I just can’t seem to breed another one. If I had a female with Technician, it would be so much easier…
